Mark Levin, who was on vacation, came back with a fierce threat today. Levin promises he will do "everything in his power" to defeat Sen. Rand Paul if his father runs as a third-party candidate. "If Ron Paul decides that he is going to go third-party, which is detrimental to this nation, and pulls a million votes, which is relatively insignificant in the big scheme of things, I will do everything in my power to defeat his son in Kentucky. I will do everything in my power to defeat his son Rand Paul in Kentucky," Mark Levin said on his radio program tonight.

If I were Ron Paul, I would have to acknowledge to myself that time is short, and that it is time to pass the torch. Rand is intelligent and competent.

If Ron Paul runs third party, I’d rather Levin use his show and influence to work to defeat Ron Paul, not Rand Paul.

I dunno. I sympathize with Rand Paul. Rand knows he could not keep his own well earned position, and would probably resign on his own, were he forced by family ties to side with his father in a run for a Third Party. Rand is not his father, nor a fool. He would need no help or threats from Mark Levin to make that decision.

Why take it out on his son? I like Rand Paul. Mark should know better.

The people of KY., really like Rand Paul so a threat by this radio host is pretty stupid.
Why is Levin threatening Ron Paul’s son? Rand has no control over his father’s actions. If Rand supported him running third party, that might be another story, but this is otherwise an idle threat coming almost 5 years before Rand Paul’s next election year.
