LARGO - Is it a crime to wish bad karma on someone? A Pinellas County teenager says she was suspended from school and charged with a crime just for posting a karma comment on her Facebook page.
Allie Scott is a junior at Osceola High School. The 16 year old says it all started in the school parking lot last month when she parked her brother's car in another girl's spot. She was asked to move it, and when she did at the end of the day, the car had been scratched up with a key.

Another day in Obamaland.
Now why don’t you go pay your taxes? Your government is broke. :)
Pinellas County? Isn’t that the same county whose proud judge murdered Terri Schiavo?
So, first we kill off the sick Christians, then we start on the kids.
“Karma” another Sanskrit language word from Hinduism misused in the US.
At least the prosecutor will get the Karma he deserves. Would she have been immune had she said, “Somebody’s chickens may well come home to roost”. That’s totally PC and if 2012 goes well, that will come to pass.
Actually, the one who got well deserved “karma” was the young lady who parked in someone else’s space and didn’t move it until the end of the day.
It seems to me that Allie and her mom should sue the school district and make them pay to send her to a private school where none of this garbage would take place.
Get the kid in the system anyway possible. The justice ‘industry’ down here needs more revenue.
so glad my kids made it through college years ago
I don’t know why those 80’s tunes get caught between the ears, but they do. Sorry!
Oh NO! It’s the karma police.
Jeez, Florida school districts, instead of monitoring a student Facebook page, why not use the money that the TAXPAYERS are being forced to give you to give the students an EDUCATION! Florida’s schools are bad.
Free speech must be banned in school!
No, I'm sure Wicca is a religion the expression and conduct of which is protected! [facepalm]
Stalking? She posted it on her own Facebook page, not the target’s. The target wouldn’t even see it without somehow coming to her Facebook page.
Mind control. This isn’t prosecution for illegal acts, it’s persecution for unauthorized thought.
Master of Education: The degree that keeps on giving.
If that's a "crime", this country is in worse shape than most of us thought. I can see why the fuzz don't have time to arrest illegal aliens, they're too busy with this kind of nonsense.
I could see students having an area assigned for parking their cars with perhaps individual slots assigned for administrative staff. I have never seen a high school with assigned spots for individual students. My guess, the "other girl" thought of it as "her spot" because "everyone" knew she "always" parked there (near the door?).
