LARGO - Is it a crime to wish bad karma on someone? A Pinellas County teenager says she was suspended from school and charged with a crime just for posting a karma comment on her Facebook page.
Allie Scott is a junior at Osceola High School. The 16 year old says it all started in the school parking lot last month when she parked her brother's car in another girl's spot. She was asked to move it, and when she did at the end of the day, the car had been scratched up with a key.

Fur shur they're going to be in deep kimchi
You should hide your identity when wishing someone bad Karma. That’s where “Karma Chameleon” comes from.
Sounds like religious intolerance on the part of the school board and police.
Based upon my experience with education professionals, I think that it is entirely possible that the school administrators do not know what the definition of “karma” is.
This is what liberals do when they take charge of an institution. Right now they are able to do things like this to children because they run the public school systems. If they gain sufficient power, they will do the same thing to adults, particularly conservative adults.
Careful. I think that makes you a stalker, Bamahead. I'm sure our benevolent Homeland comrades have been notified.
I think I saw in another article that, in fact, the admin. of the school did not know the definition of karma. Bunch of geniuses running that school
thanks now I have that song in my head - ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh the shame....
Yes, sounds like witches are running that school. I hope karma catches up with them and they burn at a stake. (They can't suspend me!)
They KILLED a 16 year old American kid a few months ago, and most "conservatives" cheered. Now, they have it codified. The frog is boiled. It Can't DID Happen Here.
“Oh, so you keyed my car. Your karma is going to be a whole lot worse than that.”
Based on this quote, it’s not even a wish.
When did schools start using the court system instead of just calling the parents? Whoever took the report should have said, no, this isnt an issue for the police or the courts. There are multiple failures here. Hopefully, the prosecutors office will say, You gotta be kidding. Get outahere! The way it works here is, the sheriffs office or the local cops write up a case and take it to the county attorney. The county attorneys office says whether theyll prosecute. Then it gets set for court.
On a side note, if it does go to court it is idiotic to go into a courtroom without an attorney. I dont care how poor you are, mortgage your house if you have to. Judges can be utterly capricious and they operate without any supervision. The outcome can be ridiculously out of step with the offense.
Soooooo....
what happened to the person that keyed the car?
If posting that on facebook is stalking. Keying the car must be a death penalty offence.
Oh, I thought it came from Jimmy Jones.
Can they book her for writing "whatever goes around comes around"? Isn't that a threat?
I thank G*d my kids went to a school that had an administration with a bit of common sense and that they are now all graduated. Then again, we live in a town and school district that is politically about 80% Republican and the public schools have four different types of private or parochial competition (1 Jesuit, 1 Lutheran, 1 Evangelical, and 1 highly ranked private college prep academy) in a five mile radius.
