WASHINGTON, Dec. 22, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ In what has become an all too predictable pattern, former Massachusetts Congressman and Hugo Chavez sympathizer Joe Kennedy has once again launched television and radio advertisements praising Venezuelas socialist dictator, Hugo Chavez. And once again, Congressman Connie Mack (FL-14), Chairman of the Western Hemisphere Subcommittee and Congress leading critic of Chavezs dictatorship, has admonished Kennedy for continuing to publicly laud the Venezuelan strongman.
Mack stated: Its beyond shameful that Joe Kennedy continues to line his pockets with a salary from CITGO and use our nations less fortunate as a PR mechanism for Hugo Chavez. If Joe Kennedy really wanted to help those who need it, he should support the building of the Keystone XL Pipeline from Canada and the 20,000 good-paying private sector jobs that would result from it.

If the roles were reversed, Kennedy would call Mack a traitor, an embarrassment to the American people and deserving of death by creul and inhumane punishment. Mack would cry.
The easiest way for me to ID them is by knowing what type of drug addict they (cough-bs) 'were'. Or to which rape or girl's death they were connected. Or to which Felony they were 'originally charged with', but later, was plead down to a misdemeanor.
But dang it, that's never reported now.
NOT sarcasm!
I’ll help you out—this is the Kennedy who crippled the girl, as opposed to the one who drowned a girl, and the one who raped a girl.

And he tried to have his marriage annulled—a marriage which produced two children, an annullment his ex-wife didn’t even know about until years later.

Classy, Christian family, huh?
I respectfully disagree. I work in social services, and see these folks daily.
They indeed think they are geniuses who are frustrated by their lack of control over others, who could benefit from their greatness.
Of course there are those who know they’re morons, but they’re a different kind of liberal—they fervently desire to join that (imaginary) circle of brilliant libs who will lead us all to the land of golden sunshine and free healthcare and blah blah blah.
I have no prob with him raking in the bucks, it’s just his self-congratulatory commercials showing him helping ‘regular folks’ as if he personally supervises every oil delivery, and it’s all for those folks who need help. Meanwhile, he’s helping spin Chavez as a good guy.
Ah! Thanks. That does clear it up :-)

As my Grandmother would say when I was a wee lad: Shanty Irish.
As my Irish grandfathers would say, “Green beer Irish”—they hated that stuff. They were the first people I ever heard call someone “abortionists”—which is what they called the Kennedys.
Every time I consider changing my tagline, a Kennedy shows why it should remain.
Maybe that's because it was a 'Chicago Thing' and 'Shanty Irish' was used most often. And it's not like I was kept indoors (We were always outside 'playing'), my 'old hood', was originally Irish (very close to Bridgeport), and I had a lot of fellow 'Mick' friends.
(Being called a 'Mick' never bothered me, thought it was kinda funny. Like 'so...?')
Ah yes, Lace Curtain Irish—I’m familiar with the term, but the only person I’ve ever heard use it is my brother, and we’re second-generation Americans.
All four of my grandparents were born and raised in Ireland, but I’ve never thought of myself as anything but American.
That is a GREAT tagline!
The first two categories integrate into American life quite well over time (I have some of both in my background), but the last category stay brutish and nasty, no matter how much money they get and how much education they're exposed to. I think the Kennedys qualify.
The Kennedys. They didn’t shoot enough of them.
Sadly this is my Dad to a tee. He worships Fransisco Franco.
DarkWolf was correct. working in a Liberal Mecca, I have observed this for years. If the liberal was a poet having brain surgery (pick your own metaphor), they would be instructing the brain surgeon on how to perform the operation. Regardless of the fact that they have no skill or training in that area of expertise, just the fact that they are an enlightened liberal with such an extraordinary intellect, makes them superior to you no matter what. You, the “expert” are just a “tool” with the brains of a screwdriver, for them to use and direct.
The whole clan is a cancer.Whores for whatever liberal cause that line their greasy pockets.
They never met a dictator they didnt get on the backs for. The only one with even a limp spine was JFK.
Their heightened view of themselves borne on generational money (and in some weird way maybe, guilt),add to this narcissism to create megalomania. That an an already created political machine in MA composed of other people in their patronage system.
It is their form of fascism that results— and one shouldn't forget as pointed out on this thread, that the kennedys supported nazi germany— embarrassingly so, with Joe, Sr. trying to meet with Hitler (without informing State/FDR)that he finally resigned as amb. to Great Britain. And yet, Joe Sr. supported Sen. McCarthy to the end.
Anti-communist, pro-fascist, anti-semitic, but all liberal/progressive as long as it lines their pockets (about which see Teddy and ERISA, creating HMOs then turning his pals in tort law a career in liability suits while trashing HMOs). A family “thing”.
“”Dear Congressman Kennedy: “”
Is that a title they get to keep forever? How about just plain old Mr. Kennedy?
My Grandmother had similar observations about the Norwegians. There were the Dirt Hut Norwegians, the Mud Hut Norwegians (lived in a wetter climate) and the Projects Norwegians. Great Great Great Grandpa was a Herringer. He would take his dragon boat out and harpoon the wily herring. My ancestors migrated to the US because of the great opportunities here and the poor food in the Norwegian jails. My family mostly settled around bars with cheap prices.
