Blaze Exclusive: Donald Trump's Possible Third Party Run Gains Momentum

The potential for a third party presidential run from billionaire developer and reality TV star Donald Trump may be closer to becoming a reality show of its own.

The Blaze received a copy of a confidential email sent out late Thursday afternoon from a Florida Tea Party leader and personal friend of Trump. The email requested assistance in building a team in Texas to make certain that, if Trump chooses to run, his name would be on the ballot.

The email included:

If you’re too blind to see the impact of Obama’s hatred for America, and his active campaign to destroy it, you’re beyond help.

If you can’t see that Mitt has at least promissed to undo Obamacare and take down the destructive anti-business policies holding back this economy, then you’re too focused on your fictionalized concept of the perfect candidate.

Again, I prefer Newt, because he’d be more effective at quickly taking down Obama’s failed policies, but I’d rather have a debate about “rate of fix” than “rate of destruction”.

I also could vote for Trump if a third party candidate. It would be a voting booth decision. If I did it, it would be a vote against Obama and a vote against the Republican establishment. In other words a vote against the establishment.

Yes, you are. If you don't know about "Read my lips", you probably shouldn't post on here until you do some research. The point has nothing to do with Perot's 19%. It has to do with RINO Bush giving us Perot to suck his votes away.

If you don’t know that 19% of the vote going for Perot had much more to do about Clinton’s victory that GW’s Read My Lips quote, you know nothing of political history.

GW was scammed by liberal lies to decrease spending in exchange for new taxes, just as Reagan was scammed by the same lie.

It’s a STUPID excuse to vote 3rd party and ensure the election of someone who hates America as much as Obama does.

If Romney is the nominee I too will vote for him. Anyone is better than Obama. Obama is a leech - he has the mind-set of most entitlement junkies.

Well, of course the vote going for Perot was the deciding factor in the election. The point is, again, that there would have been no Perot without Bush's ineptitude. The "scam" you refer to is nonsense--Bush had (1) promised not to raise taxes and (2) seen the scam in person 5 or 6 years earlier. If he got "scammed," which is debatable, it was through pure gullibility. "Liberal lies?" That's what liberals do, like dogs eating their vomit. Bush was either a liar or incompetent--or, in my opinion, both.

I probably agree with you about 3rd parties, except in your dismissive characterization. These 3rd partiers are not stupid; they're desperate.
