I’ve heard people on radio talk about a trucker show but I do not know more than that and that some say it’s pretty good listenin’.

One of the mysteries of Savage.. how can be be critical of other talk show hosts taking time off? Wondering how can they do that?!

Once when Bell had retired (for the nth time) he was back filling in on the weekends. He made it clear that he separates himself from Noory's dislike of George Bush. Bell could be a critic of Bush without hating the man.
I recall that Bell mostly described himself as a libertarian -- I lost all interest in Bell as he went totally nuts over that global warming climate change stuff.

There’s some show or other radio entity named Midnight Truckers Network, or something like that.

...I pointed that out a while back and then some hit and run guy mentioned it along with a disparaging comment.

To me Savage has what I call "hilarious hypocrisy." He can contradict himself within the same sentence, and it's funny.
He said he doesn't like vacations, yet he loves to sleep. Me, if I could get rid of sleep, I would, it seems like such a waste. I could hear more radio!

...What station is that, Truckers? I thought it was KCMO.
...dyna, someone adding keywords to the list? Not me.

I had forgotten that he is an AGW nut.
The big problem with the AGW debate is that believing
in it makes one FEEL more intellectual and intelligent, but the majority of them have no clue about the MWP or Little Ice Age.
Deniers, however, are viewed as uneducated knuckle-dragers.
If one goes to the wild and crazy Topix forums that discuss
AGW, you will see prime examples of young pseudo scientist.
They have no clue that the AGW issue was tailor made for
Socialist/Communist control of the population.

Just a keyword troll who puts his/her tenth of a cent in once in awhile. (weener, weiner) etc. The others are little strikebacks such as whinertroll by me and some mentions of groucho by others.

I don't doubt that Savage works hard. He has many projects going.
Listenin' to and lovin' radio since the 1940s it is just that I have never known anyone so seemingly blasé.
Of course very few have the talent that Savage has to just show up and do the show. Talk show hosts from whom I've heard it described say they spend two or three hours working for each one hour on the air.
San Francisco KSFO's former host (0500 - 0900) Lee Rodgers claimed to show up to work around midnight to do show prep.
Savage mostly seems to have the freedom to do what he wants when he wants --- a kind of federal civil service GS attitude. :)

I think that is in reference to Kook to Kook AM.
Many of the listeners are long haul truckers, listening the C to C in order to stay awake.

To tell you the truth I haven’t looked at much of Ron Paul’s ideas-his foreign policy scares me and Savage’s clips he plays make him sound nutty.
Maybe I’ll read up on him-a little.

...I was a contractor for many years, best gig I ever had. As long as I met deadline I work my own hours. Some days 12, some 3-4. Nights weekends, whatever I had to do to get the next gig.
