Pro-Gingrich group up with first ad in Iowa (Video of Ad)

Winning Our Future, an outside group backing Newt Gingrich for president, is up with a new ad in Iowa pushing back against those in the "Republican establishment" seeking to derail his campaign.

"The Republican establishment wants to pick our candidate," says the ad's narrator. "When a principled conservative took the lead they outspent Newt Gingrich 20 to 1, attacking him with falsehoods."

The ad then promotes Gingrich's conservative bona fides.

The group has promised to spend $1 million before the Jan. 3 Iowa caucuses, with much of it focused on the Hawkeye State. That lags behind the outside groups backing Romney and Perry, both of which have already spent more than $2.5 million on ads in the state. This is the first major salvo of the promised ad buy, and has more than a quarter of a million dollars behind it.

Already reading about it in other articles. Those article pose the notion that Newt should have putting out ads like this when the Romney/Paul super PAC’s went on the air. They question whether it is now to late to make a difference.

Is it to late to make a difference? Or is it perfectly timed?

Pick up a REAL polling point per day and by caucus evening, Newt wins. It's doable, imho.

Nevertheless, I believe Newt has $10,000,000+ to blitz SC with ads, then FL.

SC + FL = Nomination!!

"I don't speak for the scientific community, of course, but I believe the world is getting warmer, and I believe that humans have contributed to that," Romney said. I’m not too worried about Iowa. It looks like a virtual tie...a shared win in a proportional state where 3-5 candiates all score between 10 and 25%. If Paul and Romney get 20%, Newt and Perry and Santorum get 10-15% and the rest in single digits, it is not a game changer by any means. I’d rather see Newt spend his cash in SC.

Exellent ad and shame on the voters in Iowa if they don’t get it. Love the end “don’t let the liberal republican establishment pick your candidate,” nailed IT!!! upbeat on his record ...an absolute homerun imo

Here in Florida we are getting the “Anti Newt” ads from an outfit called “Restore Our Future” who claim to support “real conservatives”. Quick research uncovers the Romney links for this ‘unaligned’ PAC. We conservatives will kill ourselves to give Obama another 4 years to destroy our country. Good going guys!
