slurs? innuendos? When did Freepers become so delicate.

CW is simply pointing out what your link is. By the way Perry must have the big MO. I noticed the Perry trashers are back dredging up the same stuff from 3-4 months ago.

They don't tell us why their candidate can beat Obama and why Perry can't. They just come to Perry threads and post the same old crap.

Yet a slick talking D.C. insider, NE metrosexual, or a crazy isolationist seem to be winning the day rather than actual, concrete administrative success. ***sigh***

And blackout Perry threads from the side bar by removing "news" topics.

Fox news was hard at it this morning. First an attack on Gingrich as someone had found a paper or essay Newt had written to the effect that every American had the right to health care. Mitt’s people are claiming that this is basically what Mitt was trying to do in his state.

Newt’s people are saying the piece was just philosophy, not a political stance.

Really, they were dissing both candidates while trying to promote Newt.

Next they did a full blown attack on Ron Paul, which was all right with me and kinda interesting.

It’s still the place where nobody knows his name (if it’s Rick Perry)

We need to make them realize that Rick is a viable candidate.

Well, I can’t, but I guess the early voting states can.

You do realize that is a very biased source that was debunked right?

Tell me about it. There was a dude on around here yesterday who had a long list of grievances about Perry, all of them old; all of them already explained or refuted.

And he just kept posting it.

I posted to him that if he was really interested I would discuss those issues with him, but I knew he wasn’t.

Sorry about posting protocol but I don’t remember his name .

I meant Fox News was trying to promote Romney by finding a piece that Newt had written some while back.

Newt needs to stop talking and stop writing... but he can’t.

You can debunk it all day, but Al will still believe in it because he wants to.

Don’t know who he’s for or who he’s afraid of.

Richard Fisher was Kay Baily Hutchison’s first Dem opponent when she ran for the senate.

Why is Romney excoriated and Newt given a pass? I just don’t understand the unflinching loyalty to Newt, despite all the stuff that keeps crawling out from under rocks.

At what point do people see the light - if ever?

I wonder if its the hope to see Newt knock the crap out of BO in a debate. RP might be able to do it, but the MSM will keep up the kook factor. Perry is not a great debater, and frankly, we want BO humiliated and buried by his own words, and Newt can do that. Personally, I would like Santorum to win at this point, but I need to do more research, and he needs more traction to get his chance against BO.

If the main reason people want Newt to be the nominee is so that he can humiliate BO then that is the dumbest and most dangerous reason to support a candidate at this most critical time in our history. Good heavens where Perry is most competent is exactly what we need to right this sinking ship of a country. It’s not fancy debating skills that is needed most right now but someone with proven executive experience.

I think most of them, including our beloved leader, are motivated by fear of Romney.

They think that Newt is the only one with a chance to beat Romney.

Everyone wants two of the three conservatives to step out and endorse one of the others.

There’s a problem with that. I want Santorum and Bachmann to get out and endorse Perry. They probably want Perry to get out and endorse them.

But Perry is the only one of the three with an organization, money and a real chance.

I don’t think we have to settle for Newt.

This dilemma is reaching the "take a stand" finish line. I was thinking EXACTLY what you just posted.

The voters NEED to make THEIR choice on who is the candidate who has shown they can lead and who has done it right. That candidate for me is Gov. Rick Perry. Conservatives need to back him. My opinion -- yes. But he will stand the strongest against Obama -- the bright line of difference will be clear. Perry is the outsider -- not a legislator, like the others. Perry is the top executive in Texas. Texas' economy (13th in the world) shows what a failure Obama and his socialist party have been (and what we'll have more of if he's reelected).

Gov. Perry ushered in a Texas GOP supermajority in 2010. He can do the same in 2012.
