I think most of them, including our beloved leader, are motivated by fear of Romney.

They think that Newt is the only one with a chance to beat Romney.

Everyone wants two of the three conservatives to step out and endorse one of the others.

There’s a problem with that. I want Santorum and Bachmann to get out and endorse Perry. They probably want Perry to get out and endorse them.

But Perry is the only one of the three with an organization, money and a real chance.

I don’t think we have to settle for Newt.

This dilemma is reaching the "take a stand" finish line. I was thinking EXACTLY what you just posted.

The voters NEED to make THEIR choice on who is the candidate who has shown they can lead and who has done it right. That candidate for me is Gov. Rick Perry. Conservatives need to back him. My opinion -- yes. But he will stand the strongest against Obama -- the bright line of difference will be clear. Perry is the outsider -- not a legislator, like the others. Perry is the top executive in Texas. Texas' economy (13th in the world) shows what a failure Obama and his socialist party have been (and what we'll have more of if he's reelected).

Gov. Perry ushered in a Texas GOP supermajority in 2010. He can do the same in 2012.
