President says he wont abide by spending bill he signed
When the president of the United States signs a bill into law, its expected that he will abide by it. Thats not the case with President Obama, who has a sudden interest in novel legalistic interpretations getting him off the hook from laws he doesnt like.
On Friday, the president signed the $1 trillion omnibus spending bill, which funds the government for the remaining nine months of the fiscal year. Afterward, he released a statement saying he wont abide by the law because the Justice Department had advised that certain provisions are subject to well-founded constitutional objections. House Speaker John A. Boehners spokesman Kevin Smith told The Washington Times, This president used to condemn the type of signing statements he is now embracing to ignore the will of Congress and the American people.
One of the presidential pet peeves is that Capitol Hill put the kibosh on his czars. Those high-level White House appointments arent confirmed by the Senate but are central to implementing Mr. Obamas liberal agenda. Lawmakers specifically blocked funding for salaries and offices for four of his nine czars: health care (who coordinates Obamacare), automobile industry (car czar), urban affairs and climate change. The president protested that defunding those positions could prevent me from fulfilling my constitutional responsibilities, by denying me the assistance of senior advisers and by obstructing my supervision of executive branch officials. Thus, hes going to interpret the law as he sees fit.

Tsk, tsk, comrade. Such ill-will towards Dear Reader can result in a visit from the Cheka (aka the Department of Just Us).

Obama gets away with it because Congress takes no action to stop him. The House can impeach but will not.

Let's see....he's advised that it's "Un-Constitutional", but signs it ANYWAY? Then, selectively, he lets the Justice Department decide what parts of the Law they will abide by? Reminds me of how they ignored DOMA, and other non-Progressive/pro-Minority Laws, or how the DHS decided to grant un-official Amnesty to Illegals, with the complicity of the Justice Department hassling the States on their enforcement of EXISTING IMMIGRATION LAW and the Will of The People in those States.
These bastards don't just need to be ousted by the 2012 Elections, they need to be tried for Treason, and prosecuted FULLY.
