According to the latest Gallup tracking poll, more Americans approve of the job that President Obama is doing than disapprove for the first time since this summer.
The latest Gallup survey shows that 47 percent of Americans now say they approve of the way that President Obama is handling his job. This is a 5 percent improvement since the Dec. 16-18 Gallup survey and marks the first time the president's numbers have been in positive territory since July. The number of Americans who say they disapprove of Obama's job performance has fallen to 45 percent, down 5 points from Dec. 16-18.

I wish it would go that way, but it won’t. The gop has had a circular firing squad going at full tilt for the last 6 months.
Sarah Palin - gone.
Michelle Bachmann - almost gone.
Herman Cain - gone.
Newt Gingrich - still in the running but badly damaged.
Ron Paul - the latest target.
In the end, barky wins a three way race between himself, mittens, and Ron Paul. The only good news, and it’ll be thin solace indeed, is that the gop will be reformed after the fiasco runs it’s course. If it isn’t destroyed in the process.
This is due 100% to Romney’s trashing of the other republican candidates...him and his surrogates, some of whom might also be candidates themselves.
See 2008 before you fully believe that. Also Obama has voter ID fraud and moveon.org and the NBP’s all ready and waiting to help him win.(P.S. My point was not about Iraq but regarding his highness hussein obama. We now have a POTUS who can’t be bothered to engage world leaders. In fact it was reported he did not personally speak with the Iraqi Prime Minister for over a year as negotiations broke down. He delegates all that to Biden. It’s pathological laziness and a “I dunno” strategy so he can’t be blamed if something goes FUBAR.
Voters need to know about this behavior to make an informed decision. MSM isn’t goin to tell them. It’s up to the GOP to light barry up.

All the pollsters do is manufacture opinion, all the pollsters are either Rep establishment or MSM, really the same thing.
I have no horse in the race! The pollsters now decided it would be fun if they lowered Newt`s ratings, they started this a couple weeks ago.
The masses hear the new polling data and they accept it, buy into it. The pollsters phony polls become reality once they are released to a dumb public.
Then the phony manufactured polls are posted at RCP, people look for trends from the phony polls???

Look at who they sampled. First, adults not likely voters. Plus under sampling of Republicans.

With the games the GOP is playimg,they are going to loose big. Look at VA and the rest of the primaries. If mitt is the guy obambi will get a second term.
Been on FR lately? That makes the TV look mild. Basically the theme of many is "We don't care if Obama is reelected, we won't vote for anyone who doesn't have the initials SP."
If true, we are screwed. People will follow the herd. Or at least where the herd appears to be going. And if this is true, the GOP better start playing the game.

Is it a poll of adults or “likely” voters?
There is, of course, a difference. If someone loves Obama and thinks he walks on water, he or she doesn’t matter if they have no intention of showing up at the polls. The same goes for anyone who likes the eventual GOP nominee but has no intention of voting.
In previous polls, I’ve noticed the percentage of democratics polled is greater than the percentage of republicans.
Also, 11 months is an eternity in politics. Alot can and will happen in 2012. Expect the unemployment rate to go up after all the Christmas season hires lose their jobs.
If Cristie has the good sense that many believe he does, he will wait until the GOP comes to it’s senses and develops some consensus.
