The disappearance of Teamsters union boss Jimmy Hoffa remains one of Americas most enduring mysteries.
But now, nearly four decades after Hoffa vanished, his driver has claimed he knows where he is buried and how he got there.
Marvin Elkind said Hoffa was killed by a mob enforcer and buried in the foundations of the towering General Motors HQ in Detroit, Michigan.
It was his own people who did it, Mr Elkind said in excerpts of a new book published in the New York Post, adding Mafia member Tony Jack insinuated he was responsible.

When I was was workin for an outfit whose only client was Central States Teamsters,( our offices were in the same building) I had a bumper sticker that asked “Hey Fitz,Where's Jimmy?”
I was ‘gently’ asked to either remove the sticker or not drive that car to work mo more.I did neither.

The movie Hoffa presents an inaccurate picture of Hoffa's disappearance. It shows the final meeting place as a truck stop road house in the middle of nowhere.
The restaurant was actually the Machus Red Fox, located on Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Hills, one of Detroit's most prestigious suburbs.

It's only recently that GM moved to the Renaissance Center. The “Ren Cen” was promoted by Henry Ford II and Ford was the largest tenant when it first opened,

I never saw the movie because I knew it would be bad that way. So, does this story make it complete? Can we now point to every major Detroit construction project in the ‘70’s and say someone claims Hoffa’s buried there? It’s been freeways, sports venues, buildings...all involving concrete.

Marvin Elkind needs money in his dotage and is trying to flog his memoirs.
Let’s please keep that in mind. He’d probably claim Hoffa was kidnapped by a war party from Omicron Persi’i IV if he thought it would sell.
Hoffa was snuffed all right and I really don’t give a damn where they dumped him.

I couldn’t care less where he’s buried as long as he doesn’t turn up again.

I read once that his body was stuffed in a 55 gallon drum and filled with concrete. Then the drum was taken by boat to somewhere in the Atlantic near Bimini in the Bahamas and sunk in thousands of feet of water. Only God knows for sure.......

I figured these wise-guys were smart enough to truck the drum out west and blow it to bits with dynamite in the desert. That’s what my 17-year-old mind thought at the time, anyway...but Bimini’s good, too.

Jimmy Hoffa and D.B. Cooper are the two mysteries I would really like to know what the truth is.

Marvin Elkind needs money in his dotage and is trying to flog his memoirsHence, he picks a burial site that is completely inaccessible and therefore unverifiable.
To: bwc2221
You are exactly right, I remember when he disappeared and know that restaurant.
To: Wiggins
He may be here:
