Police: 9 shot at Tenn. nightclub Christmas party

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say nine people were shot when a fight broke out at a Chattanooga nightclub, where some 400 teens and adults were attending a Christmas party. Police say all those shot are expected to survive.

Chattanooga police said in a press release Sunday morning that an off-duty officer who had been working at Club Fathom fired shots at a suspect who pointed a gun at him, but the gunman got away. The officer was not wounded.

It seems the formula doesn’t change no matter what....Black Club..Drinking...Someone feels Disrespected(ie..Someone stepped on their Jordans)people get shot. It happened in my town a few years ago the clubs would let out and the Yound Urban(Black) Males would go to Waffle House...someone was always getting shot at 3am at the Waffle House. Mad me mad couldn’t go get my scattered/smothered hashbrowns and waffle after work!!

So, how many of the nine were shot by the off duty cop missing the “suspect”?

I was wondering if anyone was going to pick up on that. As written there is no indication in the story that the "perp" fired any shots.

There’s a story I just saw about a murder/suicide in Grapevine, Tx this am just after opeing of christmas gifts. Can’t post it as i’m dining out...if someone else wants to post it.
