Here's what it says on Newt's facebook wall:
Newt and I agreed that the analogy is December 1941: We have experienced an unexpected set-back, but we will re-group and re-focus with increased determination, commitment and positive action.

I guess you've never been married or screwed by Virginia.
Next.

OK...Can’t trust VA with a write-in vote... So, why bother? Vote anti-establishment for Paul to sink Romney. Everyone will get it except Ron Paul. VA results will be meaningless. Then move on. My Opinion...

Is Newt going to give up? Did America give up after the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
Hell, no!
To: jeltz25; All
Newt is full of it on this one, and embarrassingly so.
First of all, over a month ago VA officials were warning in the press that the various campaigns, including Newt's, were in danger of mission ballot qualification if they didn't get into gear.
Nov. 15, 2011: Could GOP Presidential candidates fail to meet ballot requirements in Virginia?
There is no excuse for this. It is simply a failure of organization and leadership on Newt's part. And blaming it on "the system" or "the process" is excruciatingly lame.

See what happens when you criticize the current political love of the week.
It was the same with W (big assed mistake) and cain and now the newt.
It’s the same “with us or you are against us” BS.

Sorry, no way I’d vote for Ron Paul, come on! He’s crazy as a June Bug.
To: fightinJAG
STFU! When only two candidates from a field of 8-10 can "qualify" and the national and Virginia CLEAR front runner can't, it IS time to blame "the system".
So why were thousands of registered voters (who STILL reside in Virginia) thrown out because they changed residences?
I smell a Willard rat!!!

Newt compares VA Ballot denial to Pearl Harbor on facebook. Huh?
But to compare being left off the ballot in VA because his own campaign didn't do enough to get the necessary signatures with 3000 Americans being killed one morning by the Empire of Japan...I mean, really, Newt? Really?
Easy on the histrionics. Probably basically meant "a day of infamy," which, of course, it was.

So I’m waiting for Santorum to surface, but there’s only a week left, and I surely wouldn’t bet Romney $10,000 that Santorum will rise to the occasion. But I still say he has less baggage than the others.

It’s kind of like a class of eight, where only two listen closely enough to follow the rules. The other six were dozing or confused or expected the system to “take care” of them.

W (big assed mistake)Yes, the only thing worse was McPain. I have voted for Bushes in general election eight times, and isn't it about time to admit guilt and gullibility?

I see no guilt or gullibility for voting Bush over McCain.

You wouldn’t really be voting “for” Paul but “against” Romney. Every Paul vote will hurt Romney but won’t help Paul.
