Romney is not a “jack mormon” Romney is a temple worthy mormon. Only 15% of all mormons are given this status. It is the highest of the high, in mormonISM.
His views are not out of alignment with SLC lds.

Agree with Elsie's comment down thread. That 10% tithe comes out of your earnings. That is but one of many requirements to be temple worthy. It is something anyone could do, but most do not. It is a personal choice, not something "given" to you. I managed to do it from 1986 to 1993. There were too many demands on my finances and time to keep it up.
