Yet another poll showing Gingrich holding a slight lead over Romney. He appears to have settled with a steady two-point lead for over a week (More than 2% lead when you get to likely voters).

Good news all-around for Gingrich today!

Big endorsements, winning all the polls, holding a steady lead. More endorsements coming this week!

Newt is leading - or as the media and GOP Establishment report it: "Tanking."

Yes very good news. Like you said Newt seems to have settled in even with the full blown negative attacks from all comers.

still got 15% on Bachmann, Santorum and Perry. Once the primaries get going let’s hope there is some consolidation. A 2% lead is nothing once dems start crossing over and voting for Romney.

in NH, they polled the perry-michele-santorum voters for their 2nd choice. THey split equally among huntsman-paul-newt-mitt.

Not what you would expect.

Hopefully, there’s still a chance for a conservative candidate to win Iowa. But they will have to overcome both Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich.

I see where Megan McCain is ragging on Newt’s wife! That alone should bring a few more votes for Newt! The Republican Elites just don’t realize how much the Tea Party and the Reagan Conservatives hate the Republican Elites and Especially John McCain!

A couple of points on this one. First, it was based on interviews taken from 12/1 - 12/13. Don’t know how that affects things, but this is essentially a poll taken from 7 days ago to 19 days ago.

Second, very interestingly, they asked who was the LAST person people wanted to see nominated. The #1 selection by far? Myth’s new pet pit bull: Michelle Bachman.

I don’t get why RomneyCare isn’t damaging Mitt as much as it should be, and, IMHO, all past, present, and future problems with RomneyCare should be enough to defeat Mitt’s chances of ever winning any run for any political office, at any political level. RomneyCare is socialized medicine! Also, gay marriage started happening, while Mitt was Massachusetts Governor. Also, Mitt has been running for POTUS, after his second year as Massachusetts Governor onwards, so why does Mitt want to be POTUS so badly?

Yep, you'd never know it by listening to the media. I didn't hear any of this good news from the MSM today.

I don't get why GingrichCare isn't damaging Newt as much as it should be. The reason Mitt wants to be POTUS so badly is because of his father.

It's a daddy thing. Since his dad crashed and burned as a presidential candidate, Mittens needs to win to either vindicate or to one up the old man.

Strange, the Gallup poll yesterday showed Newt at about 36% and Mitt was in third place, Bachman was in second. Could there be some cheating on some of these polls, since the MSM and the dimwits want Mitt to be the nominee?
