As we mark one year this week since Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was shot to death in Arizona -- with guns allowed to drift over the Mexican line found at the scene -- we certainly know much more about Operation Fast and Furious.
That's the bad-idea-executed-poorly child of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, sanctioned by your own U.S. Justice Department. In addition to Terry's death, another federal agent may have been killed in Mexico by a walked gun, and the case could well have ties to North Texas.
What we still don't know -- what Attorney General Eric Holder with great determination will not say -- is who in Washington signed off on this awful idea of letting straw purchasers cart off armloads of high-powered weapons, headed to Mexico. The stated plan was to track them to the cartels, which worked out about as well as one might expect. Hundreds of guns disappeared and now are turning up at crime scenes on both sides of the border.
Holder last week had another bob-and-weave session with a congressional committee, managing to reveal as little as possible. However, he did let us know that while Justice did dump hundreds of emails in response to a subpoena, none were addressed to him or had been sent by him. And that he has a personal email account, along with his government account. And that lying isn't the same as not telling the truth, depending on one's "state of mind."

I suspect that Holder’s just trying to buy time,to get this scandal pushed past the election. Then he can get his Presidential pardon.
Bulls**t, Mr. Hashimoto. The purpose was to provide justification for much more ominous levels of gun control. That's the bad-idea-executed-poorly child of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, sanctioned by your own U.S. Justice Department.
Bulls**t, Mr. Hashimoto. It was perfectly executed in terms of the real purpose, stated above: To provide justification for much more ominous levels of gun control.
What we still don't know -- what Attorney General Eric Holder with great determination will not say -- is who in Washington signed off on this awful idea of letting straw purchasers cart off armloads of high-powered weapons, headed to Mexico.
Bulls**t, Mr. Hashimoto. We know darned well who signed off on it: That grinning freak, Obama. Why, he even bragged to Sarah Brady that he was working on gun control 'under the radar'. Gee, I wonder what that meant.... NOT.
As I understand it, the DOJ has yet to produce a single e-mail to or from Holder that mentions Fast and Furious. I wonder why.
And, you are dead right abut the whole "botched program" meme. The MSM dearly wants us believe that there was an intention to track these weapons but they just failed to implement any scheme to do so. Does that sound botched? That sounds planned and it was a plan that almost worked.
bttt
By the last session, after listening to hours of Holders evasions and dissembling, Republicans Darrel Issa (CA-49), Trey Gowdy (SC-4), and Sandy Adams (FL-24) were clearly livid. I dont know anything about Gowdy, but I think he wanted to drag Holder aside and kick the cr@p out of him.
Holder was so bad, the worst rats in Congress, (Sheila Jackson Lee and Maxine Waters) couldnt come up with any sort of defense.
I doubt the three pubbies will let this matter go. Holder is just putting off the inevitable closer to the election.
i have a question... if fubo pardons holder, can the new president revoke that pardon???
Thanks for the report. I could only stand to watch Sandy Adams grilling him. Holder is so incredibly evil and vile it’s just shocking - what a corrupt administration this is.
Was this in the print paper, or just online?
Have you heard this, that Holder was involved in the Oklahoma City bombings that were supposed to have been an FBI sting operation that went bad?

Oh yes. That is a nasty bit.
What we still don't know -- what Attorney General Eric Holder with great determination will not say -- is who in Washington signed off on this awful idea ..
Sorry. Excuse me Mr Hashimoto.
Don't you mean "who in DC that we can 'prove' signed off...." As we KNOW that Barry did, we just can't 'prove it' yet. Yet being the operative word.
Barry's statement to the Brady Bunch wasn't hyperbole or him blowing smoke for campaign cash. When he said they (Him and his pet monkey Holder) were working on Gun Control "under the radar", he MEANT 'Gun Walker' - period, end, stop.
F&F killed THREE THOUSAND Mexicans —the number 200 counts only the LAST victims of the guns. The son of the Sinaloa Cartel leader said total deaths are 3,000.
THAT is a bad idea? THAT is poor execution?
Hey, that’s about the number of people killed in 9-11.
We’re talking about people who will bind the hands of 50 people, murder them en mass, cut them up, and then dump them near intersections, to make a point.
What would happen to YOU if you killed 2 badged US officers? Or 3,000 Mexicans?
Well, you’d be **executed** —that’s what.
FIRING? That’s what we’re willing to settle for?
How about impeachment, imprisonment, and the disbanding of the whole ATF?
I’d call that starters.

Apparently his buddy is also quite a dynamo, too.
Holder and Clinton must have gone to the same liars’ school.
