Good morning, Alas. Hope Free Republic plays nice this morning and lets us talk.

Also hope WE play nice. I, for one, will try.

Four candidates on this morning but no one I want to see really.

Does anyone really want to see Barney Frank again as long as they live?

Romney’s original idea about Obamacare was to “repeal its worst aspects.” from Hot Air article

Wallace should put him on the hot seat regarding his comments from 2010. Now, when he needs Conservatives to vote for him, Romney says he'll repeal the whole bill ... but will he really? I don't trust him to repeal it (or trust Wallace to bring up this major flip flop). Another article I saw about Romney sums him up pretty well for me:

As a typical standard-issue Republican, Romney wouldn’t have the heart or the courage to take the fight to the president, but instead would debate around the edges, and lose. (The Stupid Party - Michael Walsh)

Nothing in particular to say, just wanted to get in before the (recently) traditional Sunday server slowdown kicks in.

HOWEVER, I can't wait to see if Barney Frank gets any questions about his close buddy and fellow liberal genius Jon Corzine. Maybe Barney knows where all that MF Global customer money went, even if Jonny doesn't.

THanks for the thread AB! (Sure would like one of those hats you catholic guys wear, they really rock!)

Looks like its time for DBM candidate destruction. Should be interesting. Poor Boehner no matter what he does its never quite good enough. He needs a good injection of Reaganesque to cure all that’s wrong with him.

Chris Wallace begins FOX News' PIMP-athon for Moot Romney.

Starts Chris Wallace: (Evasive coward) "Mitt Romney sits down
for his first Sunday show in two years".
No mention made of why he was hiding.

Chris Wallace begins by calling the Speaker "zany" and
"crazy", "lacks temperament", and other demeaning
things for Romney so Romney need not say a word.
Wallace speaks entirely for Romney twice.

Then RomneyBOT Wallace lauds Romney extensively
"won endorsement" of Haley says Wallace.

Romney then begins his attacks with Wallace Pimp as his wingman.

Just turned on the show and the first words out of Wallace’s mouth “he’s zany, he’s undiscplined...what’s your argument against Newt?” And Romney takes the bait instead of saying...I’m not here to argue against Newt, I’m here to argue against Obama.

Romney, in a flash, admits he has adopted Democratic tactics
(and has manipulated allocations modeled on such).

Wallace links Romney to Obama on one issue
(and looks up into space, suggesting this was all set up in advance).

Romney responds with the prepared "answers".

Questions on the real issues seem unlikely today since
these were prepared to show how "smart" bad gov Romney is
and to attack Speaker Gingrich (more than twice by Wallace).

FLASHBACK (ignored by RomneyBOTs at FOX "News").

MITT ROMNEY - THE PROVEN BAD GOVERNOR

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

FNS

Wallace is not doing his usual motor boat butbutbutbut impression to interrupt Romney.

Romney’s responses are general, short on specifics.

Most of the questions seem to be rather softball.

So far, no ‘are you a flake’ type questions.

Boehner did an excellent job.Now if his rhetoric will just match his actions!

Basically, DNC Dave's mission was to portray us/Boehner as never giving into zero enough and Boehner countered with everything zero does is political.

He(the joker) could care less about the welfare of the country from pulling out of Iraq too soon to opposing Keystone which the country desperately needs to compromising on budget cuts. You name it with zero its all politics all the time. Typical of a candidate which is who the Joker is. All dnc Dave could say is if you really care you would give the dear leader all the time he needs for environmental concerns about Keystone. This after Boehner pointed out that Hillary--State dept.--had all but cleared Keystone of environmental concerns stating that it would do little if any harm.

DNC Dave didn't want to her that and ignored everything that the state dept. had already done.Typical DBM bent!

DNC Dave went onto portray us as not wanting to get along with zero on anything and instead waiting for the next President Boehner told him I'm not that smart1 really too good! All in all it was a good exchange by Boehner winning most all points and really putting it to dnc Dave. Now if he would just stand up like that when it comes to creating legislation and then holding zero to it we are there.

Every time I try to warm up to Michelle Bachmann, she says something even dumber.

The last few days she is spouting off that Politifact agrees with her on this and that, or politifact is with her etc....DOES SHE NOT KNOW that Politifact is a group of homosexual fag liberal democrats???

She is just not ready for prime time...she said it again today on Meet the Press, was flipping back and forth between MTP and FNS

Mornin AB, All.

As always, thank you AB for doing this thread. Just got back from singing, now sitting and ready to communicate with yon Freepers.

Couple of things....First, the link below is to a Blog post of mine making MY case for Newt Gingrich.

http://patfish.blogspot.com/2011/12/thinking-about-newt-and-other-political.html

It’s not an outright endorsement but I think I make some pretty good arguments.

Below is a link to a Blog post of mine all about the local political scene, involving a Sheriff, a councilman, the son of the current VP, the son of a former army commander during Desert Storm....it’s a very long post but if you’re a political junkee it might be interesting.

http://patfish.blogspot.com/2011/12/sheriff-county-councilman-attack.html

Now....here’s my most recent surprise, and for now I don’t know what to make of it.

Husband says to me that Chris Wallace, son of liberal Mike, said that if Ron Paul should win in Iowa then the Iowa voters are just mean and nasty.

Husband, yeah he’s a bit to the right, even of me, was all in a titter over this, casting aspersions at Wallace and all a grumble.

“What? Do you like Ron Paul?”

“Darn right,” husband responded.

Well this just surprised me all to heck.

“So you think that it’s okay for Iran to be gathering nukes...”

“There’s no rule says Iran can’t have nukes,” he cut me off and I was paused. Of course there’s ten million reasons why we don’t want nuts like Ahmanutjob getting nukes to control the Middle East but no, there’s no universal law that says Iran can’t have nukes. Israel, darn, even Pokkistan have nukes. By what rules can’t Iran have nukes?

“And you think that 9-11 was America’s fault?” Husband grumbled over this from me. Though I don’t know that Paul said this but I heard rumors he hinted at it.

On and on, me arguing that Paul wants America to isolate itself, husband arguing that it’s time America stop trying to be the world’s policeman....it went.

You know what I think? I think people are getting so damn sick of being pushed to the middle to the likes of Romney and by those once on our side like Coulter who’s lost it and so on...that the net result here might well be a big push to the right.

Ron Paul’s getting a lot of support out there and as they pick off the candidates we like we’re going right, not left.

I still think that Rick Perry, who I really like for his self-deprecating humor and face it, he’s got a good record in Texas, or Michelle Bachmann, might still take a last stretch run for the prize.

So let me shut up for now and watch the shows.

I just caught a few minutes of Howie's shows on CNN, and one of the guests had a caption which said he is the Sports Editor at “The Nation.” That must be a very lonely job, because what do the other people there want to talk about with him? Since the editor looks like Cruella DeVille, I thought the only sport they would follow would AKC shows. And I'm not sure that is actually a sport.

Anyway, the Sports Editor at "The Nation" is, not surprisingly, very concerned about the attention paid to Tim Tebow and his extreme views on religion, and how Mr. Tebow is willing to express his opinion ......

EVERY TIME SOMEBODY SHOVES A CAMERA OR MICROPHONE IN HIS FACE. Thank nobody we have the Sports Editor at "The Nation" to keep us all in line.
