CLEAR LAKE, Iowa Rick Perrys cowboy boots, which make an appearance on the campaign trail every now and then, have kicked their way into the coffee world. One coffee shop has created a coffee blend named after those famous Texas boots bearing the words Freedom and Liberty.
The Cabin Coffee Company here in Clear Lake developed the Freedom & Liberty Blend, made of 100 percent Arabica Beans and described as being Rich & smooth, medium bodied, sparkling acidity, with Smokey undertones.
Brad Barber, the owner of Cabin Coffee Co., presented Perry with a bag of the coffee before the Texas governors event today at the coffee shop...

Does anyone have a pic of his boots?
Who wants to drink coffee that tastes like boots that have been on someone’s feet?! Ewwwww, icky icky!
I don’t have a photo of the boots—but I will tell you that he is often called “Pointy Boots” when folks around here are not happy with him...........
I don’t think it is supposed to taste like the boots.....
That’s a more masculine looking logo, more like the shades that were used in Herman Cain’s late campaign. The campaign video I saw a few weeks ago had it looking like an Easter egg with a gay looking .org website tag.
But to name a product like this for boots? Especially one that’s supposed to taste good? That’s too reminiscent of, er, boot licking. Although the image of walking all over, er, Arabica might not be all that bad.
Would love to see a picture after reading the story about 9/11 and Rick Perry’s boots!
I remember being the butt of a gag, when some guys gave me “coon ass” coffee.
That is Louisiana STRONG chickery flavored coffee.
It’s the same logo that he has been using. I think it just looks darker in that photo.
Not the first time this has happened:
Perry mentions gingrich/paul earmarks...

I’m not much of a coffee drinker, is a boot taste considered better or worse than old tennis shoes? :)
That stuff and Community Coffee will give you the runs! Nasyu stuff!
If you can't stand your spoon straight up in the middle of the mug, it's "watered down." :-)
Did Juan Valdez pick the beans?
FR guidelines don't allow us to post the actual pic.
Oh wow! Thanks for looking! They are really nice! What a patriot!
