A conservative Mississippi mayor has said he is gay after an audit showed he had the city pay for a wide range of personal expenses, including a visit to a gay sex store in Canada.
Southaven Mayor Greg Davis revealed publicly for the first time Thursday that he is gay, and said he has struggled to keep his sexuality from affecting his public role as mayor of Mississippi’s third-largest city.

I wonder what "struggles" he is talking about? Does this mean he's thinking of changing laws in favor of queers?
If he has been visiting “sex shops” on the City’s dime, he should be removed from office and forced to refund the money and/or face grand larceny charges.
So ... how hard of a struggle is it to refrain from charging the city for your visits to a sex shop?
So when will Lindsay Graham follow suit?

the fact that he is gay is not relevant to anything
it is a distraction from him doing something ILLEGAL
which is using public funds for private purchases.
AND... on top of that,... being stupid enough to use government credit card in a GAY PORN SHOP
so, he gets caught and wants to make the issue a revelation on his being gay- instead of the real issue which is that he is a stupid moron crook.

Looks like he’s keeping his eye on the ball.
Goofy, Mickey Mouse and Adolph Hitler have already signed the recall petition...
And probably ran his campaign with an ardent pro family message.
Those three sure do get around,they just signed petitions in Wisconsin last week.
Why would he be on a “recruiting trip” to Canada? Maybe there’s a good reason, but it seems a bit odd.
In any case, there’s no excuse for using a state credit card to buy stuff at a gay porn shop.
And he ran on a “family values” platform. Does he still stand for family values? That’s not impossible, but it’s important. I’ve known a couple of gay people who kept their sex life to themselves, and did not approve of all this gay activism business. Not a good sign, though, that he couldn’t resist using the taxpayers’ dime.
That tactic seems to work pretty well in today's America. At the very least he'll get preferential treatment from the press.
