It’s a story for two reasons. One is that a camera was on scene. Two is that truthfully the work day of most cops is incredibly dull.
That’s is not what the newbie said. According to him, most police officers in the news are “’bravely’ shooting the family golden retriever or storming the house of some pot smoker watching Sponge Bob in his boxer shorts.”
Plus, it made the broadcast list at that station that day.
