Of the three — Santorum, Bachmann, and Perry — I think Perry would be the worst. I think he’s probably a nice man, but seems to be a bit dim. Santorum is smart, has good values and a good grasp of the issues, but he’s WHINY. Reminds of of Sid in “Tom Sawyer”. Bachmann is smart, is very seldom whiny, and is up on all the issues. Her weird hubby may be a drawback. I don’t love any of them, but think Bachmann would be best of the three.
Basically, I’m depressed about our whole slate.
One thing for sure, we must unite behind whomever wins the Republican nomination. We must remove Obama and win control of the Senate too!
