Who in their right mind wants the Republicans to dictate fiscal or economic policy in this country?
Lets see....CONSERVATIVES for one Darcy!!!
The folks in the Occupy Wall Street movement have already figured that out. Its just a matter of the rest of the country coming to the same conclusion...
Most of American disagrees with OWS...

Yes, I feel the same way as Jim Robinson. Allegra, taking a portion of my statement instead of the whole thing is showing your true liberal ways my friend....

That's a common myth about unemployment benefits--people think that they've been paying into it, but it's really their employer, not them.

I will gather behind the nominee AND will FIGHT for that nominee to win! I do not desire another four years of Obama in any way, shape or form.

What "liberal ways" do I have? Or are you just flinging crap up against the wall in hopes that some will stick?

You are right about Perry as Commander in Chief. This is a man our military can be proud of, and he loves them, it shows in the way he cares for those who have been wounded in body and soul, and how he cares for those who have been left behind.

I doubt we will unite behind our candidate...Who is "our candidate?". I'm not into groupthink.
I'll vote for Gingrich in the general if he's the nominee, but let's not forget how well putting a white-haired, overweight, centrist, aisle-crossing white guy up against Obama worked the last time.

Donald Trump should volunteer to host a Democrat debate, I’d like to see the response of some of the uninformed know-it-all Democrats around here on Darcy and his platform.

It will be interesting to see how Rick Perry does tonight in the debate and also in the Iowa caucus.
I certainly agree with you on Paul and Romney being out. I am sorry to say I do not trust Newt as far as I could throw him. He sounds so very good, but when one goes back to things he has done and said, it amounts to many, many flip flops. I just don’t trust him.
Actually Rush stated it very well. The only real Conservatives in the race are Santorum, Bachmann and Perry.
I like all three, but think Perry would be a great President.

BTW, since you are a Paul supporter are you also a Truther?

First I hope that if Ron Paul turns out to be our candidate against Obama, that you don’t help obama by NOT voting for Paul. Second, a liberal trick is to take peoples statements and parse them or use any piece the choose to make their point.....inotherwords whatyoudid.

I agree totally! And Governor Perry would make sure we have a VERY strong Military. He would also look at each case concerning our soldiers sitting in Leavenworth and pardon those who definitely should NOT be there! Michael Behenna for one.

First, I didn't know that I was not supposed to comment to someone who was in Iraq, because I didn't realize that everyone who went to Iraq was a Conservative--I guess I will have to assume that now that you told me right? All people who go to Irasq are Conservatives...got it.
I'm not a Paul supporter, but I wouldn't expect you to read exactly what I wrote or expect you to put the truth out there.....that would only make you look foolish. Are you also a liberal who parses peoples comments to try to make others ONLY PICK UP What you hope they do and run with it? LOL Just like the media.

I looked a few years ago and very much liked what I saw. Rick Perry 2012.
I just hope that Freepers everywhere will take a closer look at Rick Perry. True he did not shine in a couple debates, but I also noticed that he wasn't given much time wither in the last debate. The media wants Ron Paul, Newt, or Romney to be our nominee, and in that order. Of course we know Ron Paul will not win, but the media will do their best to focus on Newt and Romney. Perhaps tonight's debate will show folks that Rick Perry would be a great Commander In Chief.
