While I long for Sarah to run, I know that's not happening. While I long for her to stay involved and energize the base of conservatives, I don't see that happening either. So I ask my fellow freepers, what in the world is going on or not going on with her? Once in a while, we get a facebook post or tweet, but these have been weaker and I can only wonder if the MSM/Soros/Obama/Chicago machine has done their dirty work. I don't believe for a second that Rice or Todd's business partner innuendos are real, but they did their damage. I don't see her getting paid to talk and we hear from her less. This sucks and I hope I'm wrong because her voice will be needed to endorse someone soon (likely after Iowa and SC and NH are done)...perhaps 1 primary sooner, not sure. But she'd been blunted so much now that not sure if the endorsement won't get muddled in all the bickering we're doing amongst ourselves. I see a sorry scenario if Newt wins and she endorses him he still is looked at as not conservative enough and the MSM goes to town and we continue to be splintered on FREEP and not unified...that would suck! Unity against the common enemy, the commie Obama, is critical for defeating him.

Well, she could... but it’s going to be very hard for me to be able to forgive her for leaving us with this set of clowns as our current crop of candidates.

Personally, I’m wondering when the “serious” field is going to start behaving like it.
I predict that there will be many vicious, ugly comments aimed at Sarah - worse than those which got Pissant banned.

All the stuff that they pulled on her has to make her sick. I think she will be back in 4 years and run in the new Tea Party and will be President.

Well, it gets deeper...Palin aside, Christine O’Donnell endorsed Romney...well, I guess she wasn’t that conservative afterall. Too much northeast water consumption.
She’s busy pushing a reality show for Todd. Seriously.
Last I read, and unknown to me if true, show was rejected.
Demonstrated lies about their marriage have been slipped in at the tabloid level over and over—from the ‘massage therapist’ to affairs and whatnot. Part of the overall dishonest campaign against her.
But they are virtually always together and the press regularly comment on the best way to reach her being through contact with him. For a family who has made millions and millions and has their base in frigid Alaska, a second home in Arizona is no surprise. Nor is it that someone, especially a rugged outdoors-woman, might at some point appear without a wedding ring.
I see not a whit of sound basis to your suggestion—and so I think it best not suggested.
Why did she choose not to run? My guess is that:
1) The death threats against her kdis were getting way out of hand and Track and Willow had enough of it.
2)That creep stalker McGinniss got too close and personal to the family with his gutter book.
3) The continuing liberal assault on her marriage to Todd (trying to break them up)
4)Sometime after her big Iowa speech in September, when all indications were "Go!" she got a call from somebody big in the Republican Party (perhaps McCain?) who told her not to do it because the party would not support her, even if she won the primaries.
5) Private health issues? She really didn't look very good healthwise in October, despite all her physical training.
Of course, this is all conjecture, but you're right, there had to be a reason after everything that happened in 2010 and the summer of 2011, especially with her One Nation bus rides.
That’s an appropriate lighthearted response to something that really doesn’t even merit a response. Probably about the way Reagan would have handled it.

I don’t wear a wedding ring and neither does mrs vader, we’ve been happily married for 21 years. it means nothing.
A candid look at her activities since quitting in Alaska shows that the overwhelming expense of energy was not on running for office but on making money and ginning up the palin brand.
There was no mistaking this when she spent the time and money to actually trademark the name (and screwed the application up the first time).
The lustre was long gone and the utter failure of her over-hyped movie proved that America just doesn't care. she saw the writing on the wall (finally) and quit the fight (again). None of this was a surprise to many of us.
Palin never was what you seem to have wanted her to be.
