UPDATE: Ron Paul told voters today that America's obsession with war is hurting the economy.
Ron Paul is one of the few Republicans who said he agrees with both the Tea Party and Occupy protesters.
The Republican candidate defended both movements at a Q&A session with Patch editors in Concord today.
When asked about Occupy Wall Street, he said it was unfair to dismiss the concerns that are being expressed by the protesters.
He added that, much like the Tea Party, there are always individuals who make the movement look bad.
While he supports public anger towards government and banks, Paul said that we should avoid blaming businessmen who have gained wealth honestly.

Ok so Ron Pal sympathies with OWS, blames the US for 9/11, has zero understanding of the defense of the country......honestly paulbots need to be smacked. How anyone with a brain can say he should be president is a mystery.
Ron Paul is a Blame America First Liberal.
Saints played horrible on Sunday but hey they were playing the Titans. LOL
Because Paul is pro drugs and they just want to be able to go to the corner store, buy a six-pack, a bag of marijuana, charge it to their parents account, rush back to the basement and have more time surfing transvestite porn instead of needing to promote Paul on the internet.
" Maybe they sympathize with OWS, blame the US for 9/11, don't care about the defense of the county. Or.... maybe they have no brain.
Obama will continue to use him as long as he pollutes the GOP primaries then Obama will unleashes his lapdog media with the vile Ron Paul newsletters.
We got some inexperienced coaches learning on the fly. I like their potential, but they gotta give up the 1950s mentality. Dump the Prevent Defense, stop trying to sneak run plays in with 30 seconds left on the clock, and instill a sense of accountability to cut down on the 13 penalties every game.
There’s a bright future, especially with Jake Locker, but praying for the defense to make a stop at the end of every game is a 50/50 proposition at best. Gotta learn to have a “go for the kill” attitude in the modern game. Offenses are too good in this era to keep giving them the ball and hoping for a stop.
Yet thee are still many here on FR who defend him.
Help me out on your update where just today he blames America’s war obession. Google didn’t retrieve it. Your vid didn’t have it.
Ron Paul is the individaul who makes the Tea Party look bad.
I’m glad OWS is out there; the Dems can’t hide the discontent on the left anymore, and any illusion that Obama has any interest in white people has just gone up in a cloud of their pot smoke. These are not “his” people, despite his previous feeble attempt to pretend they were.
....if he runs in the Democratic Primaries.
If Ron the nut runs third party, he will get more votes from the dims than the GOP.
Ron Paul is a political enigma. That he cannot separate/distinguish between a person’s beliefs and that persons personal behavior especially when that person shows no indication of consideration for what is happening to the ‘middle class’ citizens defines him as such. That he, Ron Paul seems to ignore that what is really going on with the ‘Occupiers’ empathizes this characteristic. Not good for taking the USA back to the Founders intents of being a strong but exceptional Nation.
If RIP shows well in Iowa, it will just make Iowans look stupid.
No one else is going to vote for him.
