Sarah Palin Fails To Find Buyer For Latest TV Show Sarah Palin has so far failed to find a buyer for her latest television show idea in a further sign that her star is on the wane.
In the last few years Sarah Palin has made millions of dollars from two books and numerous public appearances By Nick Allen 13 Dec 2011
The former Republican vice presidential candidate's new proposed foray into reality TV would focus on her husband Todd's career as a champion snowmobile racer. It would be a follow up to "Sarah Palin's Alaska," an eight-part travelogue which was sold to The Learning Channel (TLC) for more than $1 million an episode and first broadcast in November last year.
That show followed the former Alaska governor and her family around the state, including footage of her shooting a caribou on a hunting trip, going on a deep sea fishing expedition, and visiting a logging camp. It broke ratings records for a first episode on TLC, drawing more than five million viewers. However, it dropped to three million for the second episode and received mixed reviews, with entertainment industry bible Variety commenting "Boring? You betcha".
Discovery Communications, which owns TLC, has not bought the latest idea for a Palin show. Cable and satellite broadcaster A&E Networks, which bid for the previous series, is also reportedly not interested.

Look again. She's listed right after Clint Eastwood as Queen Esther. :)
I never trashed Palin, but I did predict what is happening right now.
Just being a “consevative” is not enough. We have to have someone that has an in depth understanding of Bible prophecy, and a willingness to work boldly to dismantle all that has been done in the last 100 years.
Palin definitely is the only one that fills that bill, and is electable. (there are many that do have the same understanding, but they are politically unknown)
The present field of candidates are too far in the dark, and mostly just plain not electable.
Holy crap! That is flat out hilarious. It's pretty sad too, but mostly it's hilarious.
What about Alan Keyes I’d be liking him about now.
Palin definitely is the only one that fills that bill, and is electable.

AND IS NOT RUNNING!!!
At this moment any one of them (except Mitt) would be Obama. You have to wake up, Palin was never in!
You havent a clue what Gods plan is; why pretend that you do?
And you do? I’d say that this was a question to be answered between Sarah and God, and she has come to the conclusion that God has led her down another path right now. I am content to trust that Sarah has heard rightly from God regarding His plans for her life. Do you know different? If so, please call and correct her!
Well said. I will not forget all those threads bashing Bachmann and calling her RINO only to elevate Palin. And numerous threads claiming Perry nudged Palin away from a gov. conference podium because he was jealous of Palin. The ridiculous idol worship I have read on here I thought were trolls disrupting.I fear we may get stuck with Romney because good candidates were dissed in the name of someone that didn’t even run. Also PDS is a bad word here but BachmannDS or PerryDS isn’t. If Bachmann or Perry suddenly surged would they be backed by the former/current Palinista’s?
I know one Palinista who already has gone for Perry.
And this idolatry (and it really is idolatry) pushed people away from Palin (like me). Personally, I like Palin and was kinda disappointed she didn’t run, but I began to think that towards the end she was stringing us along.
However, some of her supporters on here (not all) act like trolls and see her as some sort of Savior. They are the ones that make the media PDS seem valid, and that plays with the masses sadly. A couple of people on here, who thinks she is the ONLY one who could win or that POTUS needs to understand the Book of Revelation, make us all look like crazies and that doesn’t help conservatives at all.
I already have a Savior, I don’t need another.
It’s simply the truth. The latest is that Bachmann is in the tank for Romney and I was challenged to find where Bachmann calls Romney out IN A DEBATE;well Bachmann did. What is the next lie to hate on Perry and Bachmann?
Shucks
It never fails. Any Palin-related article brings out the idiots.
First of all The Hollywood Reporter doesn’t have a very good track record in regards to reporting on anything about Palin.
Second, what if she and Burnett are shopping a series about the Iron Dog Race. Is she not allowed to promote the most grueling race there is? Why is that considered a negative by so many of you? SPAK was a success and it increased interest in Alaska tourism immensely according to the Alaska Tourism Dept. Todd Palin is considered a legend by many in Alaska. What’s wrong with showing what he and his fellow racers go through before and during the race?
Because she decided not to run for POTUS, why do so many of you want to attack her for her trying to promote something else about Alaska? Is she not allowed to make a living? Or is she only allowed to make a living doing something that meets your approval?
I understand. Though if you looked back through my posting history you’d see that I’m no sycophantic Sarah supporter. I like her generally, and I’m glad she’s out there in the mix of idea-makers. Unfortunately she’s poison right now as a candidate.
I’m just tired of the cheap shots and sleazy mudslinging. She’s not even in the race. She’s a good person who has served her community and her state better than most of us ever will. She is exactly what I think the founders had in mind to step up as citizen statesmen. How about we all give it a rest?
Yeah, I thought you would like that. LOL.
From watching Palin’s recent actions and appearances, I’ve become confident that she is running from a troubling assignment from the Lord.
Nothing she has recently said or done jibes in any way with her previous words nor deeds, nor with the words nor deeds of her daughters.
Palin is fortunate that we lack her phone number! :o)
None of the current crop could possibly beat Obama.
They have no confidence in their positions, and the GOP base lacks confidence in them; look at their numbers.
Worst of all, they do not seem to have the ability to boost congressional races.
>> “What about Alan Keyes” <<
.
There was a time when I’d have happily voted for him, but his actions in running for the senate from Illinois showed him to be rudderless, and ineffective.
Probably a good thing he never got elected president.
He was only ineffective because Obama ran against him and put out a newspaper article that he was a true black man because he was Kenyan born.We are in different times I think Keyes or Buchanan would make it nowadays and not be called nazi extremists.
LOLOL. That is plain wrong, and funny. I missed most of dear season this fall, but it starts up again in January so I may go hunt some Bambi myself and make deer sausage.
And Sarah isn’t running. ES, it is time to back another candidate, seriously. Or are you waiting for ‘the divine one’’s endorsement?
