So the Republican race – in a year when President Obama is totally beatable -- has come to this: Newt Gingrich, serial philanderer, liar, hypocrite, secret Rockefeller Republican, back-stabber and megalomaniac versus Mitt Romney, the Supreme Panderer, the man-with-no-principles, an utter phony who will say anything and flip-flop at any time – and someone who was not a Reaganite until he ran for president in 2007.
How can the GOP have sunk so low?
Two candidates so flawed, so inherently fraudulent and so phony.
It is almost as if the Republican Party wanted to help Obama get re-elected.
Clearly the GOP primary voters and caucus attendees do not want Mitt Romney. After six years of running, we have seen enough. We don’t buy Mitt. Period. Even while all his flavor-of-the-month opponents have come and gone, Mitt never goes up. The others come and go – and Mitt just keeps steady with about 20% of the GOP vote. Period.
How can a party end up nominating someone who only has tepid support from a disbelieving party base? How can that party support someone with 80% of the voters wanting someone else?

Now, the time for CHOOSING is nearly upon us, and the time for grousing about who isn’t running is almost passed.
In today’s media environment, you could run Jesus Christ, and he would be THE MOST EVIL PERSON EVER BORN after about 6 weeks of enemy liberal media treatment.
Kind of early to call the Primaries over, but I think Newt would school Barry into a sobbing mess curled up in the fetal position on the floor. I think any GOP candidate will beat Obama, it will just be a lot more entertaining watching Newt put it to it.
By this time next year, Capt. Hopey Changey will have already begun packing crap and calling the moving van.
Maybe LeBoutillier should get off his butt and run then.

Either Romney or Gingrich would be infinitely, massively, uncountably, better than Obama. Either of them will stop punishing business, stop making capitalism a crime and source of ridicule, stop ignoring US-based natural energy resources, stop intentionally imposing socialist-marxist wealth-redistributionist policies, and a host of other things that have brought business investment, personal wealth, employment, and confidence in government to a new low.
I can’t wait to vote for whoever the Republican nominee is and stop Obama.
All the rest until then is just filler.

Ill support who ever comes out as long as it helps us beat obama but im under no illusions that our two are worth a damn
I’ll support the nominee, but one would think we could do better than either a slick political weathervane who governs by opinion poll and a pompous ass with a history of backstabbing. Neither of them are likely to make a positive impression in the general election. We can’t afford to lose this Presidential election. There is way too much at stake.
