Romney’s Heated Exchange With a (GAY) Veteran
The Caucus ^ | 12/12/2011 | By ASHLEY PARKER

MANCHESTER, N.H. — A question about same-sex marriage from a Vietnam veteran led to a heated exchange with Mitt Romney on Monday morning as Mr. Romney was making the rounds at a restaurant here.

After receiving the endorsement of Manchester’s mayor, Ted Gatsas, Mr. Romney greeted diners who were finishing up their breakfasts at Chez Vachon, and took a seat next to Bob Garon, 63, a veteran from Epsom, N.H.

“I have a question for you,” said Mr. Garon, who was wearing a Vietnam veteran hat and a red flannel shirt with a pack of Basic cigarettes tucked into the pocket. “New Hampshire right now has some legislation kicking around about a repeal for the same-sex marriage. And all I need is a yes or a no. Do you support the repeal?”

Mr. Romney replied that yes, he would support the repeal of the state’s law allowing same-sex marriage.

“I believe marriage is between a man and a woman,” he explained.

Mr. Garon, whose personal views on the subject were not yet clear, pressed Mr. Romney for a further explanation.

~snip~

“I believe that marriage is a relationship between a man and a woman,” Mr. Romney said. “And the Defense of Marriage Act that exists in Washington today defines benefits for whether for veterans or for nonveterans, as between married spouses, and for me that’s a man and a woman.”

At the end:
>>So, does he agree with Mr. Romney on any issue?
“I kind of liked his health care plan in Massachusetts,” Mr. Garon said.

Getting penalized for not having it...
Romney may have been on the man’s side re: gay marriage back in the 90s when he ran against Ted Kennedy though.

that’s the same look he gives to nearly anyone on the stage during the debates.

Don’t have to like romney, the answer was the type of answer I want to hear from a presidential candidate.

This homosexual was in a snit because he did not get what he wanted, but I bet he got what he expected. How many of these ambush idiots exists.

Was this homosexual REALLY in the military? If he was then we know him to already be liar.

Romney should have stated the Truth—Sodomy is a vile, dysfunctional act and should always be condemned by a “virtuous” society. It is an evil act —dysfunction and puts great stress on health of societies—and should never be glorified and given special rights. He has the same right as all other human beings....to marry a woman.

Even Machiavelli stated Virtue is a requirement of Republics in his Discourses. Sodomy is defined as evil by our God—the giver of our Natural Rights. There is no “right” to sodomy. That argument is SICK and obscene.

Just because someone wears a VN vet's hat and claims to be a VN vet, doesn't mean he is a VN Vet.

When did spousal benefits become a constitutional right?

Boston conservative talk host Howie Carr used to have Chris Wallace on to talk about politics, etc. Once Wallace said of Romney, “He is an enormously attractive...guy. I got a bit of a man-crush on him, I have to tell you.” This led to a whole bunch of ribbing and finally Wallace stopped doing the
regular call-ins. Occasionally Howie will play the sound clips.

I do not see how this was “Heated” only besides the person who wrote the article is probably a liberal scum thinking that she can rewrite God’s marriage as whatever is currently “accepted.” After homosexual “marriage” is “accepted” throughout our country, next will be multiple person marriage, followed by legalizing pedophilia... if God’s wrath doesn’t boil over first.

Is there a sodomite plant at every Republican event? Is this all they’ve got? Children and “veterans” in bogus made-for-TV confrontations? Beyond lame.

Ineligible pompous "entitled" backstabber:
(subliminal) "Wonder what he is saying.
I better look attentive for the pictures.
Boy, does it s*ck to be him, the poor bastard.
Got to get out of here
and back to one of my mansions and servants."

"National Guard Lt. Anthony Circosta poses in his backyard in Agawam, Mass., on June 9, 2007.
At left, his wife Danielle and daughter Kylie, 2, talk near the swing set. Circosta,
a decorated Iraq War veteran, seemed like an ideal candidate for a pardon from
then-Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney for the 29-year-old's boyhood conviction
for a BB gun shooting. Romney denied the pardon,
twice, despite the recommendation of the Governor's Council.

“Mr. Garon responded, “It’s good to know how you feel, that you do not believe that everyone is entitled to their Constitutional rights.”

The sexually confused man has the same rights as EVERY OTHER MAN, in that he can marry any WOMAN deranged enough to have him. A gay man is not able to marry another man, a straignt man is not able to marry another man. See how simple this is? There is nothing in the constitution that supports the right to marry whatever you want, be it a lawn chair, inflatable doll, or potbelly pig. I’m not surprised these people’s twisted minds cant understand that.

Spousal benefits preexisted the Constitution and this Nation.

The two become one flesh. This is impossible with homosexual legal contract creations.

Now as for the definition of benefits I am referring not to healtcare or social security or Duane Reed discount cards but to real property, legal affairs, children, etc...
