When this info. first came out, I read he didn’t want to blow it up or go in and get it as Iran could consider that an act of war.

I love the Iran; I really do which is why I continue to make friendly overtures to you despite a series of unfortunate incidents over the last few years.
Look at this Mahmy. Just look at it: I imagine the same questions are racing through your brilliant mind as were racing through mine on that fateful day. What is this? Why did it land here in Iran? What have I done to deserve this? Who can I blame for this?
You don’t get to a position like yours Mahmy with anything less than a generous sprinkling of observational power so I KNOW you will have spotted the unfortunate mistake in the navigational equipment. Yes, old RQ-170 took a wrong turn and just got plumb tuckered out before it reached its home. That’s got to be the clue hasn’t it. No sane person would land that cute thing in such unfamiliar surroundings. Well answer me this Mahmy, what sort of friend would I be to Iran if I didn’t let you know that RQ-170 was visiting?
I know it looks like spying Mahmy. Well you’ll be fascinated to hear that it wasn’t spying. It is all just a big mistake. Its only redeeming feature was that the navigational equipment was manufactured by a Republican run company so I have managed to have my MSM fans blame them for this unfortunate mishap. Anyway, this is all irrelevant at the moment.
I’ll try and explain how I felt about this, especially it being so close to the election. Imagine being a twelve year old boy Mahmy. Now imagine its Christmas, (no, imagine it is the holiday season,) morning and you are sitting their with your final present to open. It’s a big one, and you know what it is. It’s that Yo-Yo you picked out of the catalogue and wrote to Santa about. Only you open the present and it’s not in there. That’s how I felt when I saw the plane and my promised election slipping away because of mean intentional Republican negligence.
Now I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking it’s more of that Bush spying. I admit I thought about blaming him too, but no. I am using him to blame the rotten economy on. I now have this 1% Republican fat cat who owns the navigational equipment company to blame for this unfortunate accident and this fits in with my revenue enhancing argument very nicely.
So I have devised a plan that could work to both of our benefits. You probably know how I sat on my hands in that Tunisia revolt and worked with “you know who” in the Egyptian fiasco. I am working with Assad to mildly criticize him so that he can keep his base. I can do the same for you to help you with the pro democracy crowd with a couple of letters progressing in nastiness.
What I need from you in return is when you get the last really nasty letter (I’ll have Michelle write it and you know how she gets sometimes) around July of next year, you feign real concern and return RQ-170 just in time for the debates prior to the election.
So that’s the plan Mahmy. The only question is: Can we pull this off? As I said at the start I love Iran, I really do. It’s just a shame such a simple thing could bring this friendship crashing to its knees when we both can take advantage of this crises.

Obama would have gotten the drone back if he said—— “Pretty please with sugar on top”
GUARANTEE if the Bin Laden raid failed, Obama was prepared to distance himself from it.

If Obama would listen to his military advisors and have the drone destroyed by firing missles from the ships off the coast of Iran it would have been the better part of wisdom.
He could have also had them fly F18 Hornets over the drone and destroy it. Now he stands the very real possibility of that technology ending up in the hands of other countries when all you have to do is DESTROY THE DRONE.
Obama is without a doubt the most incompetent and inept President in the history of the United States. To say that you are Christian (when you are not) and your school record from Indonesia shows you as Muslim (which I presume he is) then you are either making things up or lying to get reelected. I am very sorry, but you do not bow to other country leaders and you do not bash members of the other political party.
And...to claim that you are “Christian” and go to church two times in one year (Easter and yesterday)...is simply pretending to be someone that you are not.

In all honestly “We” freepers sound like idiots on this thread. Do you think Obama oversea’s the flying of our drones, give me a break, are you idiots. And when when goes down, the military should have hit it with missles if they didn’t want it gather up (and intact in this case). You can say all you want, but this wasn’t Obama’s fault, and Reagan wouldn’t have been involved either. The military screwed up, they should have hit it within 2 or 3 minutes of losing it, assuming they knew where it is.
I’m not a big Obama fan but half the freepers on this thread calling Obama an idiot for this even are themselves just plain stupid.
He's CiC and ultimately responsible. Maybe he doesn't deserve all the blame, but making a statement like this certainly makes him deserving of the ridicule.
