Jennifer Griffin of Fox News exposes evidence that Barack Obama wimped-out when faced with a decision to either protect American intelligence and national security or upset the Iranians.
“With early knowledge that the aircraft had likely remained intact, the senior U.S. official also told Fox News that President Obama was presented with three separate options for retrieving or destroying the drone. The president ultimately decided not to proceed with any of the plans because it could have been seen as an act of war, the official told Fox News.”
“Among the options the U.S. considered were sending in a special-ops team to retrieve the drone; sending in a team to blow up the aircraft; and launching an airstrike to destroy it.”

I’m sure this is not the whole story. Pretty sure it has self destruct mechanism at least for the data system. Anyone think Obama really makes the decision?? He’s just so dumb about everything.

What is truly dumb is the notion that anyone would send a drone over hostile territory and then improvise a plan of action after it was lost. The decision to send it over Iran without a clearly thought out plan to follow in the event that it is lost is what would be idiotic.

The drone FAILED (unless you want to believe we wanted them to get a drone filled with ass-backwards information as a ploy) which would lead one to believe that whatever protection there was for the data system probably also failed.
We should have dropped a 500 pounder on it.
What gets me really upset is if this was Bush, NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC would be running a story a night about “new information on how President Bush failed to act to destroy a drone ... blah blah blah”

Not surprised that Obama thinks protecting the US would be seen as an act of war. The Iranian regime has been at war with us since 1979, but he wants to make nice. I wish this were just disinformation, but with Obama I tend to think it’s true.
