You cant tell me that America is not exceptional. You can't tell me that because I've seen it
"Rick Perry has always remained faithful." -- First Lieutenant Daniel P. Moran
[6:45] Medal recipients tell of their sacrifice and the sacrifice of their fellow heroes -- and why they support Rick Perry.
Even if you don't support Gov. Perry, please watch these men and hear their words.
No I haven't....so what did he address in Chapter 14?
I gave you a link to Fed Up if you’d looked at that link you’d know there is NO chapter 14. I hope you and others realize you’re acting exactly like they did with Reagan. Trying to tell us he is dumb and get his act together...guess, you’ve read the playbook used against Reagan. It didn’t work then and will not work this time either.
God Bless you and your family, and thank you for your service to our country. (Wives and family also serve -- before, during, and well after deployment.)
“Incredible.
The more I read that you faithful Perry supporters post, the more interested I am in this man.”
Join the club. :) It was the articles posted by these folks that converted me from “meh” to “Good grief, this is the leader we need!”
That Perry has been on that hymnal page for years is not directed at informing you of that fact...which you used to attack his campaign as ineffectual.
It was directed to reassure anyone reading this he’s no newbie on the Federal power encroachment issue, because he has fought that battle as long as he has been a Texas officeholder...a long time. He’s constantly accused of being a pretend conservative and an actual “RINO”...absurd accusations.
But when you get in the national political arena, you don’t carry the same rep you carry back home; still, Perry might’ve thought his rep with the nation’s Republican governors was such that at least they would rush to support him in their own states. Instead, his debate glitches scared them off except for Jindal and Brownback. Hah...they need to quit pussyfooting around and back the man.
I have no inside with the Perry campaign, and I’m guessing you don’t, or else you could be advising them privately instead of critiquing his campaign on Free Republic.
Until now, I didn’t know you or who you support, and your criticisms could just as well have been to needle someone you are more unhappy with than you are a supporter of. Therefore my words were supportive of who Rick Perry is and where he has always stood.
His campaign? Might as well take that up with them...
I extend my apology to you, as none was intended.
I support the ideas that will privatize or abolish the entire Entitlement Plantation, reduce the Total National Debt to below 5 Trillion Dollars in 10 years, and privatize or abolish non-essential, non-profitable portions/departments/agencies of the US Federal Government.
I oppose the ideas that increase the year to year increase in Federal spending, and increase the Total National Debt, regardless of which Candidate said what.
I define a politician as anyone whose word cannot be trusted. Many can talk the talk, but they can’t walk the walk.
My point on Perry was that he must get more verbally active so that THE COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION will be discussing him as much or more than they discuss Romney, the darling of the MSM.
I’m just a Grandpa trying to make a better financial future for my 4 grandchildren by posting on FR.
I’d like to be able to write in the Candidates of my choice for all Federal Offices, but the State of Texas has made write-ins illegal.
Perry did well tonight, and could score big in Iowa. Somebody needs to give Nanny-State Newt a good drubbing, because if we elect him it will be the same old: “Today there will be spending cuts in the rate of projected spending for some of the important programs, but much needed increases in spending in the more important programs that make such a big difference in so many Americans lives here in the greatest Country in the World.”
Unless the IDEA of a much smaller government is expounded by the Primary Candidates, we will continue on the downward death spiral into being the Greece of North America.
Typo Correction: end of line #1. should read: “ - - - , as no offense was intended.”
“God Bless you and your family.”
Thank you. Means a lot.
