You cant tell me that America is not exceptional. You can't tell me that because I've seen it
"Rick Perry has always remained faithful." -- First Lieutenant Daniel P. Moran
[6:45] Medal recipients tell of their sacrifice and the sacrifice of their fellow heroes -- and why they support Rick Perry.
Even if you don't support Gov. Perry, please watch these men and hear their words.
My cell phone rang. "Unknown" said the caller ID.
Thought about letting it pass, but I answered it.
"Alan, this is Rick Perry." ..
His story and his opinion of Gov. Rick Perry, the man he calls on for fatherly advise.
The more I read that you faithful Perry supporters post, the more interested I am in this man.
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.

C-Span just finished showing speeches from yesterday to the GOP Jewish org.
...Perry followed Newt. Newt gave a great talk and riveted the crowd, as usual. Hard act to follow, as usual.
Whereas Newt speech was glittering and wonkish, Perry’s was...just Perry.
On faith, on Israel, on Iran, on America and freedom here at home and abroad, on American exceptionalism, on out of control Washington DC, on a part time Congress, on Wall Street bailouts, on a secured border, on Central and South American infiltration by our terrorist enemies, on Texas jobs, on Texas healthcare....
Ray and Amelia Perry’s son from Paint Creek, tenant cotton farmer, Aggie grad, Air Force pilot, Texas politician...
That was WHO spoke to the group.
Of course it wasn’t like Newt spoke...who does that? Nobody but Newt...
Do you have a link handy for those who missed the speech? Does C-Span have it archived?
And I suggest FReepers watch every candidate’s speech there. Just be sure to include Perry’s.
Correction...
Those speeches were on Wednesday, not yesterday.
Perry is so honored by our Military Veterans. Now we have Metal of Honor Military Veterans endorsing Perry. You’d think the numbskulls would finally get it.
Perry got 3 standing ovations Newt got one and I didn’t think Newt was received by the crowd near as well as Perry.
This moves me to tears. My husband died recently. He held the Silver Star, Purple Heart, Bronze Star with V device....and too many other medals to list. He was in that war we failed to win..you know ....Vietnam. He never thought we failed to win. He was a quiet man and on his headstone are the words, Follow Me. He admired, respected, and supported Rick Perry.
Newt’s speaking ability, whether in prepared remarks or answering questions, showed and was appreciated by the crowd. He is an exceptional talker and riveting speaker. I read a column once by Peggy Noonan who was saying, in effect, when he speaks, people listen. You tend to hang on his every word.
I don’t take that away from him.
I expect people to respond favorably to that, unless he says something completely boneheaded, out of left field, off the wall etc.
Perry is very different but then, who isn’t?
Perry is Perry. What you see is what you get. And that is a good thing.
That is a fantastic video.
God bless our troops!
The thing about Newtie is there are so many lies in what he says. I’ve been tracking that and it is astounding how many statements in speeches and debates are full of lies.
bump
You don't hear that too often anymore.
I am proud to stand behind these heroes in support of Rick Perry.
Thank you gettinolder.
Thank you for sharing. May your heroic husband rest in peace.
