As it stands right now, our bi-factional ruling party is doing a good job setting up the American people with various scams.

Enron was enabled by GOP led “energy reform”.

MF Global was enables by Democrat led “financial reform”.

As for there not being a dime’s worth of difference between the factions, right now the Democrats are $600 Billion ahead, not counting Fannie and Freddie which have been enabled by both factions.

(Enron=$600 Billion, MF=$1.2 Trillion and rising)

Of course, Ron Paul is the only dude talking about stopping this crap, but people who think conservatism includes invading other countries to prove our military is some sort of humanitarian organization bringing “democracy” to the world refuse to even consider him.

Whatever serial adulterer or Fabian socialist maverick comes along will do just fine.....

Actually, a big part of what put the taxpayer on the hook for Enron was the Clinton administration's putting pressure on India to contract with Enron the building of natural gas power plants. Interestingly enough, India has endless coal, but little or no natural gas. So India was supposed to buy the natural gas from... You guessed it, Enron! When India couldn't afford the payments, they defaulted, and that was a big part of downfall of Enron.

Some believe this was a big part of "the whacking" of Ron Brown.

Enron was enabled under Clinton, they came down under Bush when the reforms ended their scheming trading practices.

And Fraud Paul? LOL. The old career politician fart would sit in a corner and talk, talk, talk but do actually nothing, just like he is with the Fed.

Once he got his role as Chairman of the Monetary Policy Committee and failed to do anything he claimed he wanted to do regarding the Fed, he revealed himself to have no teeth, just words. No subpoenas, no investigation, etc. All under his legal jurisdiction and he did jack and squat.

The fake-constitutionalist palio fraudie needs to go away for a very long retirement, as soon as possible.

Didn’t you get the memo?

Ron Paul is a wild eyed, crazy old kook!

Don’t you know that you must choose one of the two establishment candidates or you are throwing your vote away?

I think MF Global is $1.2 Billion, not Trillion.

In California, energy deregulation was lead by the Democrat Party, and opposed by many Republicans. Enron made bundles by shipping energy out of state (not in actuality, but according to accounting methods) then "shipping" the same energy back.

The Democrats promised lower rates, but the exact opposite happened.

Right to the end, even some months after details of how the market had been rigged, a Democrat Governor, Grey Davis, who was later ousted in a recall election, was working furiously to sign the State up for high-priced electricity into the future.

That's Democrats for you...dumb as rocks, on the stuff that matters the most!

Putting Ron Paul in charge of the Treasury for a while would be fine with many.
