Rosie O'Donnell, possibly one of the most uninformed people to ever be given a television program, actually ridiculed the intellectual capacity of Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich Thursday.
Appearing with fellow brainiac Joy Behar on the HLN program thankfully in its final shows, O'Donnell called the former Speaker of the House a "joke" saying, "Perhaps he should read a history book"
JOY BEHAR, HOST: Yes, but I mean, what about Newt's plan to drop the child labor laws and put kids to work as janitors?
ROSIE O'DONNELL: Yes.
BEHAR: I mean, where does he come up with this crap?
O'DONNELL: I don't know. They tried that in Australia many years ago with aboriginal children. It didn't turn out too well. Perhaps he should read a history book. I don't know. That guy is a joke.
I guess the intellectually superior O'Donnell didn't know that Gingrich received a B.A. and an M.A. from Emory University in - wait for it! - history, and later received a Ph.D. from Tulane University in - wait for it again! - modern European history eventually becoming a - wait one last time! - history professor at West Georgia College.
“Maybe [Michelle] looks like Larry Sinclair from behind!”
I’d wager she looks more like TWO Larry Sinclairs. :)
Has Rosie ever read a book?
People who can’t read?
PERFECT!
This from the woman who claimed: “Never before in history has steel melted”....
Neither did Rush play the entire interview, or what led to Newt providing his response on kids working and the infamous child-janitor clip.
The conversation involved the huge gap between the rich and poor in China, much more-so than in the US. Whereas, the Chinese workers can make a dollar a day/week [?] compared to a minimum wage in the US. Thus, children go to work to help support their impoverished families, no labor laws, no unions as in the US. I mean these celebs am sure have worn clothing by these child workers until it is widely publicized and the designer then plays all innocent and cuts ties and the poor workers lose their income.
Farm families know what work is. Kids work to help support their family as soon as they are strong enough to carry a pail of water or feed. Rush and caller even made it sound like that was in a "grandfather's time"down on the old McDonald's farm. A local sheriff once said farm family kids are not the ones he has to arrest.
Kids are known to skip class to support their family[neglect in one case] in Midcoast Maine [playground of Rich & Famous Calif Democrats] by digging blood worms in the mud flats which are then sold for bait for sports fishing, a lucrative Maine industry. I doubt this industry really regulates ages. It's a cottage industry-each worker for him or herself.
I guess it is better to starve to death or put one's hand out then do what comes natural-providing for family. In the case above, the mother was on assistance, was a prostitute, a druggy, as the grandmother; he was supporting his younger brother. You do what you gotta do.
Such morons!! Infuriates people are given Media Power by the Left to influence viewers through deception. The Far Left continue to fall below worm level each and every day. They know better, both women are street smart in where they grew up. But $$$....

sorry for the double post—;(
I believe Newt Gingrich has written history books. At least, historical fiction.
I doubt if she can see her navel.
But, but, but didn't Rosie play the part of a smart woman in a TV commercial once? Oh wait, that was someone else...
That was great. Love him or hate him The Donald pulls no punches.
Is it possible for Gingrich to debate a slightly rotten, gaseous, bloated watermelon?
Hey, Rosie: At least Newt can read.
Behar and O’Donnell in the same room — that is a lot of nasty and ugly in the same place. Better call the toxic clean up crew when they are done.
Rosie is so bitter and obnoxious that she can’t even keep her female spouses. She ignorantly lashes out at Newt and totally looks like the fool she really is.
Joy and Rosie.....if you combine their IQs, it would almost equal half the IQ of the sea cucumber that Rosie uses on her girlfriend.
Hey Odummie, never go to a Battle of Wits unarmed.
Pray for America
I wonder what she uses for her FR screen name.
