Former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky's wife has denied allegations that her husband sexually abused boys in their home and that she ignored cries for help.

Sandusky was arrested Wednesday on 10 new counts of child sex abuse charges based on the testimony of two new alleged victims. The new allegations bring to 10 the number of alleged sex abuse victims.

Dottie Sandusky, who delivered a $50,000 check today to help bail her husband out of jail, was named in the testimony of one of the new alleged victims.

Mrs. Sandusky has been implicated in the alleged sex abuse crimes by three of the men who claim to have been assaulted by her husband.

Yes, good point! But I still think that would make it a lure - as well as a cover.

I think I’ll wait to pass judgement until after the trial.

I really don’t give a lot of credence in how the media reports.

I give the MSM very little credence either, but Jerry Sandusky has admitted on camera to showering with these boys and hugging them naked. He didn't say that THOSE things never happened. He has said he did them!!!

For these acts alone, I want him to serve time. Naked grown men who hug naked kids are molesting them. Naked grown men don't belong in showers with children. Period!

I don't care that Jerry Sandusky thinks there's nothing wrong with it! He's twisted! It's as wrong as it can be! It became sexual when he became naked!

This man is very good at distorting things. He should be locked up. He is a menace to society.

You used hyperbole, and I’ll bet others used hyperbole, too. The dog-gone thing is that Jerry has admitted to showering with young boys, and to hugging them while naked. He says he did “some of those things”. So why is Dottie defending him? I understand wanting to defend your spouse, but surely she can say “Jerry, showering with those boys was wrong!”

It is no longer a leap of faith for one to think that Jerry did the other vile acts, too. Someone (Jerry) who doesn’t see anything wrong with showering with boys might also think it’s OK to sexually abuse them in other ways. The insanity has to stop.

I can see how a woman might miss some things happening. I can’t see how Dottie thinks that it’s okay that her husband showered with these boys. His words. He spoke them. And yet she dares to say that they’re making ALL of this up?

There is such a thing as a woman’s instinct. It’s that gut feeling that something just isn’t right, and you can’t shake it no matter how much you try to persuade yourself otherwise.

I really believe that Dottie knew something, and it was more convenient to disregard her gut. She is really in for something when she finally starts to admit that she looked the other way all this time. It will be devastating for her.

You are entitled to your opinion. I think criticizing people in these situations is like shooting fish in a barrel, just too easy. You refer to “Dottie” as if you know her. I know I don’t. She may be the biggest scum on Earth, she may be a saint. No idea that’s why I don’t like those who know just what happened and why.

As for womens’ intuition, I’ve been around a long time and have never seen it to exceed male intuition. Real women’s intuition is not just figuring things out, it’s supposed to be an esp where maybe you know your kid is in trouble without any info you just get a feeling. Figuring out your husband or wife is screwed up is not esp. IMHO.

I call her by her name so as to avoid confusion, and in some cases, because it’s easier than typing Mrs. Sandusky.

You are the one who’s calling a woman’s instinct/gut feeling “ESP”, not me. Maybe others were calling it ESP before you.

I was trying to be reasonable with my post to you. It’s a pity you couldn’t discern that from what I said.

“...when, in fact, it’s a vile, calculating predator. “

And the only good thing about all this is at least now everyone knows. As they say, forewarned is forearmed.

You can stand by that statement as long as you like. Many a wife has found out years later about something they didn’t have a clue about.

What I object to here, is the idea the wife is guilty by association. We don’t know all the facts yet. In time it may become clear she was covering for him. And then it will appropriate to take her to task too.

In time it may become clear this guy was leading a double life, and she didn’t know. We will see.

Women are for more in tune with their husband’s personal patterns than men are with their wives.

Husbands and wifes are both in tune with their spouses.  Both sexes cheat on their spouse.  Both cause as much pain to the other.  Both sexes miss years long clues.

If it comforts you to think women are much more in tune, I don't mind.

Unless the man had a thing for children, prior to meeting her, and was able to hide for her at that point, she would have noticed his changes in how he went about things.

People change over time.  It is reasoned to realize that men and women sometimes become more dedicated to work or outside interests and spend more time associated with them naturally.

Some changes may indicate problems and then again not.  There is no 100% fool proof way of knowing unless you follow your spouse around, listen in to their phone calls, or hire someone to do it for you.

Men are very direct and simple in terms of how they do things.

And of course women are very indirect, and sophisticated about how they do things.  /s

Take care...

We will find out in time just how much she knew, or should have known. A lot of things get said a points like this in the investigations. Sometimes those things don’t pan out.

We will see. Some of you may be right about her. I want to be more sure than this before I start raking someone through the coals.
