Former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky's wife has denied allegations that her husband sexually abused boys in their home and that she ignored cries for help.
Sandusky was arrested Wednesday on 10 new counts of child sex abuse charges based on the testimony of two new alleged victims. The new allegations bring to 10 the number of alleged sex abuse victims.
Dottie Sandusky, who delivered a $50,000 check today to help bail her husband out of jail, was named in the testimony of one of the new alleged victims.
Mrs. Sandusky has been implicated in the alleged sex abuse crimes by three of the men who claim to have been assaulted by her husband.

I wasn’t “joining a lynch mob,” and in fact I said that if she did suspect this, it’s possible that she was acting the way any psychologically abused woman would act - that is, very submissive, willing to excuse or ignore anything, etc.
Many, many women married to child molesters or even killers of children have simply mentally denied the whole thing and seem to be totally surprised when he is arrested. Others have participated, but this does not seem to be the case with Sandusky’s wife.
How is this advocating lynching her?
There’s a doll placed in the window of their home - upstairs in what must obviously be one of the bedrooms. It was just a detail in the newspaper. But it struck a very strange chord with me - considering the house is apparently next to a school.
I never advocated doing anything to Sandusky’s wife and in fact I said that if she knew about the abuse, she was possibly psychologically abused herself and did not feel that she had the right or the power to intervene.
The wife of Dugard (the one who held a kidnapped girl in his backyard in CA for years and even had two or three children with her) certainly knew about it, but she was incapable of complaining - when you see a picture of her, you can see that she was just a dishrag.
It’s true that there are some women who would actively participate in things like this if they felt it would please their man (the British serial killer couple, for example). But I think many of these women suspected it from the start and were really just heavily into denial by the time of trial. There may be some who are spectacularly oblivious, but I’d suspect that they are pretty few and far between.
It is an odd detail.
It’s almost as if a specific impression is being created.
I’ve wondered if it was used as a lure. Who knows?
I am glad some one else pointed out the sheets. I wonder if he used showers since that would limit evidence on clothes.
“Ive wondered if it was used as a lure”
Unlikely. The perv liked boys. I doubt he was trying to attract girls. You wouldn’t use a doll to attract boys.
I don’t know what the significance of a doll in the window is, but I don’t think a perv looking for boys would use one for a “lure”.
Probably not a lure, but a cover.
Who generally thinks of grandparently people, having some kid toys, as dangerous?
Just like all the others.
pretty sure his income is very nice these days.
If he's having sex in the house when the wife is home, that’s an entirely different story.

I think I’ll wait to pass judgement until after the trial.
I really don’t give a lot of credence in how the media reports.
(I was copying you as a courtesy ping — directing my comment to Williams...you were copied ‘cause it was Williams’ comment to you that sparked my response)
Lynching the innocent is even more vile than rape.
“FOR YEARS she’s been part of a Monster’s MASK...like make-up...”
She was his “beard”.
Yeah here’s my response to you, I was using hyperbole to a bunch of people stating all kinds of wild conclusions about someone they don’t know and who hasn’t even been accused of anything. Including comparing her to a woman who murdered children in the UK.
Forgive me for trying to inject a little reason and morality when people get carried away, and now we have you comparing me to some post in 2010.
I’m unimpressed.
Really? How did the media distort Sandusky’s words? You know ... where he admitted showering with boys? Touching boys or hugging boys...
That all sounds like perfectly normal behavior doesn’t it?
Thank you!
A doll in the window might also represent to a child - male or female - that there is a kindly person in the house when, in fact, it's a vile, calculating predator.
