Obama’s reelection with a Republican house and maybe senate is preferable to Romney with the same congress. Both will push socialism hard. Romney will get a lot more of it from a Republican Congress than the kenyan would. Either with a Democrat Congress would be disastrous. Romney would lose the Republican Congress after two years. The kenyan would more likely get increased Republican representation in the congress after two years.

If it looks as though Obama is going to be reelected, the markets will nosedive in the months leading up to the election. You had better empty your accounts long before the election. The nation will sink into an unprecedented and perhaps irreparable slough of depression, both economic and emotional.

I don’t think it really matters in the long run.....as long as we win the Senate and keep a nice margin in the House’... Obama will be a lame duck for 4 very frustrating years...

Obama can only try and veto any legislation passed by a GOP house and Senate....And will have to send to the Senate at best moderate supreme court nominees

Anyway with him in there for another 4 years it means we will be going over the cliff in 4 th gear instead of 3rd gear

We are still going over just not as soon

I didn’t buy a farm in the middle of nowhere for nothing.

I didn’t stock it with arms and ammunition for nothing.

I didn’t buy as many farm animals as I could for nothing.

I am not buying dairy cows next year for nothing.

I am not planting a non-hybrid seed garden for nothing.

We are a ten minute walk to a very good salmon/trout stream.

4 miles from a beach with great razor clam digging.

What I need is solar panels. Too much tree cover for windmills.

Gonna play “Small Ball” and “Fold” a lot ..... been doin’ it for 3 years and I’m gettin’ kinda good at it. Not gonna bet a lot, not gonna call any big raises, and I’m only gonna stay in hands where I have a big advantage.

I’d probably have to fire at least half of my employees.

It will be the ones that seem pleased with the election that will go first.

I will not vote for a RINO. If obama is reelected is the GOP’s fault and not the fault of those who are true conservatives.
*
Both parties are steering us toward socialism, it’s just that one party is driving faster than the other. If obama is elected due to a GOP RINO being challenged by a true conservative in the presidential election we will see a revolution. I can fight this battle for my children. My son is three years old and my daughter is four months old. If we elect a RINO my children will eventually have to fight that battle. I do not want that for my babies. I want to do that for them. The OWSers have seen nothing like this mommy scorned by socialism. And since Nappy Napolitano is probably monitoring this sight, bring it on beeyotch.

This is not really funny. I would expect a mass tax revolt and advocate for one. I would advocate for peaceful resistance to compliance with tyranny, in every example possible. Boycott each and all democrat owned business, including my neighbor’s, and all sponsors. What else? Help me out here.

Just be smart and keep my own house in order so I won’t ever have the need to be dependent on the government. Maybe go Galt as much as is logically and legally possible to contribute the least to the federal monster.

Go Galt...

there are groups - wish I knew one - or had the money to start one, as lines in a song by a Native American friend wrote:

“...store lots of food
and move far from town
Live close to some wood
Put seed in the ground

And gather your friends
and live close and quiet...”

Actually, I’m already for from any large city, have a start on food, am in the woods, have small garden...but it all needs to be bigger and with people who “know”

BTW, My friend wrote those lines about 15 yeas ago - and he and his wife have since done just that.

The past 3 years I’ve been in denial over the Big O’s presidency. Will probably go into even deeper denial.

A united statement by the savers, investors, and producers of the country would show the country that we are going to stand up to tyranny.

Nah, that will never happen. For everyone that drops out of the system in protest, someone else will step in to take advantage of the void.

If we lose in 2012 we will just have to redouble our efforts. There really isn't any other choice.

The concern is that between demographic changes and an education system that teaches our kids pretty much nothing about free markets and what made America great, our people are perhaps more susceptible than ever to leftist, emotionally based feel good policies. If we continue losing the Hispanic vote at the rate we are, and continue marching towards imitating Europe, you won't even recognize what will pass as a "conservative" party. In Europe when the center right wins, it really means a party perhaps more liberal than our Democrats has been victorious. That, unfortunately, is the road we are on till one day the whole system implodes. When that happens the people around at that time will have an opportunity to relaunch conservatism, but we might not be around to see it.
