What would you do if Obama is re-elected?

What if Obama is re-elected, the nightmare scenario. This is not an idle question. Because we must wake up the disinterested, timid and non-ideological voters and demonstrate to them that there will be dangerous consequences to a second Obama term. For me, as an act of self-preservation, I would clean out my bank and stock accounts. Many others would join me. A united statement by the savers, investors, and producers of the country would show the country that we are going to stand up to tyranny. Sure, we will be demonized, but the truth is that Obama is already demonizing the productive class right now!

Pray we keep the House and win a majority in the Senate!

Go Galt...

there are groups - wish I knew one - or had the money to start one, as lines in a song by a Native American friend wrote:

“...store lots of food
and move far from town
Live close to some wood
Put seed in the ground

And gather your friends
and live close and quiet...”

Actually, I’m already for from any large city, have a start on food, am in the woods, have small garden...but it all needs to be bigger and with people who “know”

BTW, My friend wrote those lines about 15 yeas ago - and he and his wife have since done just that.

you and Newt got it right on that.

If Obama is expected to win, the markets will tank, hopefully BEFORE the election.

If Obama loses then the economy will begin to improve election night.

We just need to make sure he does nothing else until january.

IF it happens because the party chose Newt, I will just shake my head and say “told you so” and wait for 2016 and hope that the conservatives learn from their numerous mistakes picking candidates. Hopefully one day they will pick someone who is 100 percent conservative.

I don’t know that we would make it intact until 2016 under another term of this marxist. The spending alone would assure our destruction with expediency; as it is now, we are just buying time.

No one is 100% anything.

My point is that we should sternly WARN our friends, co-workers and associates well BEFORE the election that will pull our money out of the financial system if it appears that Obama will be re-elected. If they know we are serious, we might be able to wake up a few people. And if Obama is re-elected, it will be the stupid ones who voted for Obama that will see their assets decimated, frozen or confiscated.

The past 3 years I’ve been in denial over the Big O’s presidency. Will probably go into even deeper denial.

Nah, that will never happen. For everyone that drops out of the system in protest, someone else will step in to take advantage of the void.

If we lose in 2012 we will just have to redouble our efforts. There really isn't any other choice.

The concern is that between demographic changes and an education system that teaches our kids pretty much nothing about free markets and what made America great, our people are perhaps more susceptible than ever to leftist, emotionally based feel good policies. If we continue losing the Hispanic vote at the rate we are, and continue marching towards imitating Europe, you won't even recognize what will pass as a "conservative" party. In Europe when the center right wins, it really means a party perhaps more liberal than our Democrats has been victorious. That, unfortunately, is the road we are on till one day the whole system implodes. When that happens the people around at that time will have an opportunity to relaunch conservatism, but we might not be around to see it.
