Personaly I would take her to the gun store and say this what I have to spend pick out what you like Marry Xmas.

Or if not worried about price just say pick out the one you want.

Maybe a gift certificate from the gun store? Enough to get a decent gun of her choice plus some ammo?

Good advice shown above.

Never buy a gun for an experienced gun owner. Let her choose her own. Gun selection is highly personalized. It would be different if this were a first gun for someone.

With a Glock .40 caliber, I don’t see the need for any other guns at all!!! JMHO!!! A nice laser sight would be a good addition. If she can’t use the Glock off duty get a Glock 23!!

I know she can handle a big frame and if so then get the Kimber .45

or if you want to really surprise her...check out the new Solo CDP

This is an awesome little ride!

If you can find one, and if price is no object, the .44 AutoMag by AutoMag Corporation. They're not cheap, that's for sure.....it's a collectors item. My dad had about five of them in the 1970's, and he sold them in the early 2000's for quite a tidy sum.

I agree with the others who suggested gift certificates; that way she can go for ammo, accessories or a new weapon all according to what she needs/wants most.

Gun store gift certificate. An idea whose time (and whose status as tagline) has come.

For someone who already knows what they like in firearms, the best gift is a gift card. Seriously. Let them pick out what they want.

If I were buying a gift firearm for a professional I’d give them a gift certificate. But if you really, really insist on putting something under the tree, think about a Ruger LCP. It’s very small and cute and great for concealed carry, but a lot of LEOs like it for personal use.
