I’m so sorry. Prayers for your father and for you. Both of my parents are very ill right now - and you are right - “love while there’s still a chance”.

It is a horrible thing to lose a loved one. I pray that God takes him home quickly and painlessly. That Jesus wraps him in His arms and tells him “well done.”
Judging by your persona here, your Dad did something very right.

My Father fell and broke his hip when he was well up in his 80s.Same here. Dad broke hip at age 88. I rushed over and he was crying, one of the few times he ever cried that I saw. This made me cry. He had titanium pins inserted. The OR nurse was so funny she was knocking Orin Hatch for some reason calling him gay. They allowed me in the operating room and I watched part of the operation first hand. Dad did OK and lived to 94 which is my goal. My minimum goal.
