I have to tell you that Im looking at these attacks on Newt Gingrich, as an example, and Im very troubled by them. They go beyond substantive and intellectual analysis of the mans record, into attacking what people are claiming are some kind of psychosis and so forth, really smearing the guy. Really smearing the guy. OK?

And, if Newt’s the nominee, this will continue wire-to-wire until Election Day.
“Ive said it before and I want to say it again. Every single one of our candidates is head and shoulders over Obama. Every single one of them loves this country, loves the Constitution, loves our economic system. Theyre imperfect in many ways in their personal lives, some more than others, and in their policy positions over the decades, absolutely.
But I do know this! Not one of them is a Marxist. Not one of them seeks the destruction of the private sector. Not one of them seeks to massively increase the central government.
Now I have strong disagreements with several of them. But I do not believe that when we are eleven months away from the most important election in my lifetime, where Newt Gingrich may well be the nominee and Im making no predictions that all the trashing and attacking and opposition research thats being used, not to challenge his positions, but to character assassinate him, to absolutely destroy him.
Im not joining in on that! As a matter of fact, Im denouncing it!
Because if he is our nominee, I intend to fight with 100% of my energy to get that man elected, good, bad, and indifferent!”
They did the same thing to Cain. It comes with the territory and you are right it is SICKENING!
I dont give my email out
Have you been following the vicious attacks on Romney?
And Newt, like Reagan and Nixon before him, does not shrink from the attack. He battles back. He sure made Princess Nancy go back on her heels real quick (for now!). I’ve no doubt that he’s got some dirt on her.
On the other hand, Mitt would probably say he was disappointed or some such mealy-mouthed language.
Good for Mark Levin ...
I don't think anyone views that as a problem.
I do believe that Romney is something of a stiff of a candidate and he would likely lose to Obama.
I also believe that Perry is a poor candidate who would turn off conservatives and moderates alike and so he could lose badly to Obama.
And I believe Newt is the kind of candidate who could absolutely implode if he were the nominee, possibly leading to the fracturing and demise of the GOP. But I’m not convinced that the fracturing and demise of the GOP would be a bad thing.
You mean like this?
Mitt Romneys pinch of humor falls flat in N.H. (Later admits being untruthful)
Mitt Romney's 'awkward, delusional' unemployment gaffe [fantastically stupid]
Romney is What's Wrong With the Republican Party [gloBULL warming]
Romney: I think I line up pretty well with the Tea Party [LOL]
Romney is an unrepentant abortionist/statist lying political whore! Just to be absolutely clear, there will never ever be a RINO Romney campaign on FR!! If he somehow becomes the nominee, FR will be running a full-time campaign to DEFEAT him!! If you wish to support him then I suggest you sign off FR and onto Wankers for Mitt!!
LOL!
The attacks on Speaker Gingrich are interesting. He is either (1) the consummate insider or (2) he can’t get along with the insiders. At least he fights back.
Dude, have no idea what you read but the conservatives are beating the crap out of Myth non-stop on twitter. Do a search on his name in twitter.com, I have done my fair share.
Duffy is correct as always.
To quote William Shatner from “Airplane II”:
Irony can be really ironic sometimes....but it’s his ship now....he’s the Top Dog...The Big Man...........Numero Uno Honcho.....The Head Cheese....I just hope he has the right stuff.
I will say this again. Just because these candidates appear to be above Obama; that’s no reason to vote for them. Every hear of a wolf in sheeps clothing. Dig your head out of the sand and find a real conservative.
Levin isn’t shy... LOL And with the new news that Newt wants John Bolton as his Secretary of State, it`s getting REAL interesting.
They did the same thing to Gov. Rick Perry.
Gingrich said he was pleased to participate in the Trump-hosted debate and dismissed criticism from rival Ron Paul that such a forum demeaned the presidency. "This is a country that elected a peanut farmer to the presidency. This is a country that elected an actor who made two movies with a chimpanzee to the presidency," Gingrich said, referring to Presidents Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan.

I have nothing against voting for a true conservative. But it looks like they are not getting any traction yet and bashing other candidates to get them traction does not seem to be working even yet.
