Since WHEN did Donald Trump become the GOP Kingmaker?

OK, I'm reading daily reports of candidates flocking to see the Donald. I'm reading of how Trump is moderating debates. And it's disturbing. I guess not quite as disturbing as having Karl Rove call the shots, but still....

Bottom line: Trump is in it for Trump. I'm still projecting he will declare himself a third party candidate.

Well, for whatever reason, they’re all still going to him for his blessing.

“Since when is Donald Trump a King Maker?”

Since he declared himself to be and the msm seconded the declaration.

Sarah Palin will be King-Maker, not TheDonald.

And I still expect Sarah to endorse Rick Perry.

As soon as about 20-25% of the GOP base actually took the moron seriously for awhile. Trump is a self-aggrandizing idiot.

He may not be king maker but he knows how to make a payroll, something that escaped a few of our candidates. He may know how to ask a tough BUSINESS question which may cause one or more of these folks to say something we have not heard. He knows something about the media that ahs escaped the vast majority of republicans.

Is it more disturbing than watching the MSNBC debate where the moderator debated the candidates? What a joke that was and they all showed up. Trump won’t run any worse show than that. In fact I’ll bet it will be pretty good.

I predict the Donald has many other more interesting things to do than run for President on a 3rd party ticket. His worst nightmare is that he would have to slum it for 4 years and live in the Whitehouse. LOL!!!

The only thing left is my endorsement. Yeah, I said it. My endorsement is key and I know it. Yes! Oh boy - they’re coming to take me away!

Since he has enough name recognition to run as a third party candidate and peel off enough PO'd voters to give the Wee Wee a free pass ... just like Ross Perot did for Bubba Clinton twice.

Pick a pundit to search for and you’ll find a similar set. The fact of the matter is with all these debates this is a very long election season, and boring too, so pretty much anybody willing to sit in front of a camera and blather politically will become a sought after “pundit”. And yes Trump is in it for Trump, just like every other pundit, there’s money to be made blathering opinions without consequences.

Excellent question!

Trump, a life-long DEMOCRAT (conveniently turned GOPer in 08) is this election's ROSS PEROT!

When Dem's move to the right, they do it in stages, but Dem Trump is suddenly uber-conservative (suspicious yet?)

Trump's whole life has been one of a deceptive, wheeling-dealing show-person, and this is absolutely no different.

We simply must be smart enough and alert enough to see Trump's moves as the counterfeit-indie-candidacy-to-split-the-conservative-vote that it is.

.

It doesn’t do anything to kill the image that Republicans represent the top 1%.

Thank the citizens for giving The Donald, “The Ratings”. It is the American Idol voter syndrome.

Us (in the royal sense of all of us not on TV) give him the attention and ratings so the candidates go to him because they know most of the general people will watch and listen.

So, to answer your question, when you are out and about, look around at everyone around you shopping, driving, eating out, etc, and you’ll see who made him the “kingmaker”.

Bingo!

Trump is a charlatan and he does not speak for conservatism. Trump is a nutzie lefty-libertarian type who thinks he's a hero to regular folks. In reality Trump is an anti-hero who makes chumps out of good folks he hoodwinks into promoting to his hollow rants. FUDT!
