With the Republican fields first major test just weeks away, the failed presidential bid of Herman Cain is throwing his support behind the current frontrunner.
Sources told Fox 5 Atlanta that Herman Cain will endorse the presidential bid of Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
Several sexual harassment allegations and a claim of a long-term affair left the former Godfathers Pizza CEOs White House bid all but destroyed.

why not? Gloria Cain voted for Clinton and Mr. Global Warming algore
La Raza Rick could drop out tomorrow and nobody would notice. I just hope Conservatives in TX have an eye on taking out this buffoon after what will be 14+ years in the Governorship (and 30 years in total since going to Austin) at the end of his current term. Michael Williams would be an excellent choice.
If you trust Cain to be president, it means you trust his political judgment.
Apparently you no longer trust Cains political judgment (and you must therefore be happy that Cain is no longer running) because you dont trust his choice to endorse Newt.

I’m beginning to believe Cain may have been a plant by Establishment Elites to damage the Tea-Party. And now they’re using him to try and steer support to one of their Establishment selected candidates.
I have my first preference for a candidate in my tagline, but with Herman Cain it looked like he was a good candidate and I would have voted for him.
But I do not support Newt Gingrich because he is a waffler on issues with a liberal streak almost as bad as Mitt Romney.
Bachmann is a shrill that attacks every candidate but Romney not to even mention what she tried to do to our veterans and also she has the 11th worst record for MISSED votes in congress. She is paid to show up and vote...try missing your job and see what happens
“Time will tell, but it sure makes sense to me that Herman Cain would endorse the man whos treated him respectfully all along and that man is Newt Gingrich.”
True..and it’s not just that.. which has turned me into a Gingrich supporter.
It seems that Gingrich alone, among all the GOP contenders, is the one who hasn’t lost sight, even in the middle of the fight for the nomination, of the fact that our chief enemies are liberals in general and their MSM mouthpieces and Barack Obama in particular..
...NOT each other!!
Romney’s attacks on the other contenders has turned me off..big time..and I’ve called his campaign offices to tell them so!
Last thing we need while we are facing enemies like Obama and his liberal media friends..is a circular firing squad.
Newt believes that life begins at conception. That is why he has a 99 percent prolife record.
“Gingrich Reaffirms His Belief in the Sanctity of all Human Life, Born and Unborn
“Atlanta, GA - (12/3) In advance of this evenings forum hosted by Mike Huckabee, Newt 2012 released the following statement today from Newt Gingrich regarding his belief in the sanctity of all human life, born and unborn.
As I have stated many times throughout the course of my public life, I believe that human life begins at conception. I believe that every unborn life is precious, no matter how conceived. I also believe that we should work for the day when there will be no abortions for any reason, and that every unborn child will be welcomed into life and protected by law. “
With the way things stand now, I would vote for Bachmann.
excuse me while I turn down the theme to the twilight zone here...you have got to be kidding

Soo..you are going to sit out the election ..if you don’t get who you want?
Might as well as vote for Obama.
We need someone to drive the car in a different direction instead of over the cliff.
The debt load of this country is too high and its high time for something dramatic to be done.
Newt and Mitt won’t do it........
Of course, Dear Leader! I have no brain, and must follow all of Mr. Cain’s orders no matter what I personally think. 9-9-9!!! Eleventy! All or nothing!! Black or White!!!
I’m fine with Newt myself, but I don’t need Mr. Cain to figure that out.
Soo..you are going to sit out the election ..if you dont get who you want?
Might as well as vote for Obama.

What a dumb, red herring statement!
In the US the President isn’t elected by Popular vote, but by electoral votes.
I vote in Alaska, what are the chances of Obama getting our Electoral Vote no matter how I personally vote?
Im leaning Paul. I know he has foreign policy issues, but the Economy is more important to me.

But, for one who is a strict believer in adhering to Constitutional principles, would he “defend and protect” us against “all foreign and domestic enemies”? That greatly concerns me.
No ONE can undo the damage Obama has caused in 4 yrs. Newt is the right man to lead us down that path. I am voting for him and have recruited several others to vote for him. I am donating to him as he is the right man. Huntsman is a wacko, Paul is another wacko, Bachmann tried to hit our veterans below the belt, Santorum is a loser...a good man but a loser and Perry is ...another GW
OK...I am going to be blunt and say, “hope Cain’s support does not hurt Newt”
Y’know, I hadn’t much changed my FReeper page since 2008 and when I took a look the other day, it was like nothing changed at all. After the elites ran Fred Thompson out of the race, I said ‘screw it,’ “None of the Above.” I put up a still from the great ‘80s comedy remake of “Brewster’s Millions.” Richard Pryor’s newly-rich character decided to run for Mayor of NYC (or rather “un-run”) because both the Democrat and Republican candidates for office were “sewer rats.”
I didn’t vote in the primary that year because there was no viable Conservative with legitimate credentials (desultory candidates, yes, like Duncan Hunter, but he had no shot). 2012 is not a damn bit different. A bumper crop of RINO embarrassments to choose from, but no real leader and movement builder. Not even a Monty Brewster type, which would at least be a real choice.
Some are going around here urging a vote for Bachmann or Santorum, but the former is simply not ready for the highest office and the latter isn’t serious and left a bad taste in the mouths of his supporters while Senator (and, of course, neither has executive experience in either business or in politics). So it’s “None of the Above” again unless we can get Palin into the race or another credible Governor or business leader.
