I have my first preference for a candidate in my tagline, but with Herman Cain it looked like he was a good candidate and I would have voted for him.

But I do not support Newt Gingrich because he is a waffler on issues with a liberal streak almost as bad as Mitt Romney.

The Left has figured out how to take out Newt Gingrich. You, of course will fall for it just like the millions of voters who select presidents on the basis of the color of their necktie. The Left will tell you that you can't trust Newt because he changes his opinion and won't stick to his guns. Then they will roll out about 20 years worth of inconsistencies and you will swallow it just like Kool Aid. Won't you?

So, I will repost an earlier post:

Those who toss the flip flop epithet around on this forum use the term with a wide brush. In the case of Newt Gingrich, it is done with vindictiveness. If anyone with any intelligence cannot see it, let me spell it out sucinctly. Newt Gingrich has been on a long search for conservative principles that work for America. If anyone has known anything, such searches do not always work. I will give the best example for those dim bulbs who need to turn on their light bulb and wise up: Thomas Edison. How many attempts did Thomas Edison use to get one thing right? Edison made 1000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb. Each one of those attempts has never been seen as a flip flop.
