With the Republican fields first major test just weeks away, the failed presidential bid of Herman Cain is throwing his support behind the current frontrunner.
Sources told Fox 5 Atlanta that Herman Cain will endorse the presidential bid of Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
Several sexual harassment allegations and a claim of a long-term affair left the former Godfathers Pizza CEOs White House bid all but destroyed.

I just recall Cain saying that he would never be Perry’s VP.
Go back and read my original - I know how the IUD works and don’t advise it or dispense.
Or the panty bombers, the New York Times Square Bombers, the Houston illegals going after Iraq officials. I guess we could count the Army shooters as “within.”
Assuming this is true, I wonder if this was why Mr. Cain agreed to that Lincoln-Douglass style debate with Mr. Newt. Don’t get me wrong, for the little bit I saw, I liked from both men and they were very respectful of each other. I thought they both did well.
But, remember at that time, Mr. Cain was the front-runner and Mr. Newt was in the single digits. I think that debate alone allowed Mr. Newt to climb up the polls then that crap against Mr. Cain pulled him down.
Or maybe they’re just good friends and, as someone else mentioned, Mr. Newt was respectful towards Mr. Cain during the Storm of Lies and False Accusations.
Oh, and if anyone wonders, I heard Rush call Newt Gingrich “Mr. Newt”.
When it was thought that Palin was going to run, many here called Bachman a RINO.
I have said all along that there were 3 people who had been out front on taking 0bama from Day 1 - SP, MB, and Ryan. Unfortunately MB shot herself in the foot with her gaffes.
This “Perrybot” is just watching the Keyword spammers move to the next guy and waiting for the equivalent of “Perrybot” to be coined for Newt, then ?
There’s no “Rick Perry” or “none of the above?” I’m still for Rick Perry.
NOT GONNA HAPPEN...
rt @robertcostaNRO Reliable sources tell me that Cain will NOT hold a presser on Monday 2 endorse Gingrich or any candidate

Sounds great to me if it polls well, but I suppose it is not likely. Maybe with a really strong pro-Herman Cain speech by Gloria Cain, and something to repair the damage done by the most recent accuser...
I just hate seeing the Cain Train derailed.
I have hope that Sarah Palin will some way make it to Washington D.C. and have some part in fixing things. A vice president position would work for me. I have hopes for all the candidates. Even Mitt Romney. My preference now is Rick Perry because he has executive experience as a governor. Newt is my second choice because he has been a patriot for conservatism for decades.
I have most trouble with the nitpickers; not the candidates. These are the ones who the Left will play to turn the anti Obama forces against each other. It is absolutley important that we unite as never before against Obama and his minions in the media. I am told he has a $billion war chest to use against our candidate. The State Owned Media will add their support which is worth at least another $billion in free advertising. We will be dealing with a multi-headed monster of an opposition and they are working now to make sure our candidates are damaged goods before they make it to the convention. I watch Freepers giving free aid to the enemy by attacking the mythical “RINO” flip flopper. It makes me furious!
What makes me even more furious is where is the Republican Party? The Republican Party is letting it all happen and doing nothing. Why they let Herman Cain twist in the wind is unforgivable. The Republican Party should have a war room set up and an army of political activists ready to fend off the attacks that we saw happen to Cain. They should have found out who launched the attacks against Cain and exposed them loud and clear. What happened to Cain will happen to the nominee if the Republican Party has not perfected their opposition response team. And, if the Republican Party does not have it together by now, I guarantee it will be happening. I have great fear that we will lose this thing if the Republican Party has no plan in place now.
I believe this is an old poll. At the least, it’s certainly based on old information - possibly one set up and scheduled much earlier in the week.
Nevertheless, no votes have been cast in primaries, the caucus in Iowa is still a month away. Part of the way the media influences the elections is by these false choices.
Selective polls using “the top 3,” or the “front runners,” etc., should be discouraged, don’t you think?
Dream on.
While chasing the deer out of my flower bed - the same deer that my neighbor feeds every day at 2 PM - I remind them that they are my food bank on the hoof.
So, would you say that the IUD was a form of abortion because it prevents the implantation of the human zygote?
The Republican Party doesn’t do a damn thing until the candidate is selected. The pundits supposedly on our side are worthless too, or even worse than worthless because they’re really not much different from lamestream journ0lists. Each one seemingly writes to impress his peers.
S/he has to be the first with the latest smear, lie or gotcha on each of candidates. I’m absolutely disgusted by all of them framing and describing our candidates.
Your candidate, Governor Perry? “Oh, he’s too dumb, even dumber than that idiot Bush.” NOT SO, but that’s the perception the lamestream has tagged on him. Pundits never move on. No such thing as a clean slate.
I despise them all.
You’re right about Obama and his $Billion dollar goal and free use of the media in the tank for him. It’s all completely unfair, but “it is what it is.” More people are aware of the biased and lying media.
The use of RINO has worn itself out to the degree where it’s meaningless. To me, a RINO is Susan Collins or that Arlen Spector who would vote against our Constitution and with the democrats on important legislation. Those reach-across-the-aisle, fossil, corrupt incumbents: they’re RINOS who have long forgotten why they are in the US Senate.: to uphold our Constitution.
Keep praying. We have to save our Republic.
I would call it a contraceptive with too high a risk of being an abortifacient - or even with the intention of causing an abortion when the IUD is used as a “morning after” procedure after unprotected sex.
I don’t prescribe them and have never dispensed an IUD, but in the law in Texas, even that last wouldn’t be legally an abortion. The law is specific to “ending a pregnancy that the attending physician knows is viable!” We’ve been struggling with that wording in trying to protect those who don’t want to prescribe the morning after-type pills or the IUD. We’re working on it.
It’s nit picking, but the pro-aborts love to catch these inaccuracies.
btw, the implantation occurs when the embryo is a blastocyst. The zygote stage is only that first cell.
Is not the zygote what is considered the human being after the moment of conception? It is that first stage of development after the union of the sperm with the egg. So prevention of the blastocyst from implantation is an abortive action if you believe it’s human life after conception. Implantation is an important thing to be considering if you value human life. Even if one objects to the use of the IUD, implantation is what most forms of birth control work to prevent.
