Me culpa. I mis-spelled siphoned and apparently selected an incorrect version when spell checking.
Oh it's ok FRiend, sometimes typos and misspellings lead to greater entertainment! Cheers!

Ohhh I don't know about that Wardaddy, I looked at your profile and you're probably in my age range, and btw, you have one wonderful family there, beautiful wife and kids, as Joe Don Baker said in his short lived police series "Eischied", ""Ya done good!" :)

Gee whiz. I never sought out the guy, but I never had an unfriendly conversation with him either. But so many people have mentioned his twerpiness that I’m starting to be swayed away from my good opinion of him, LOL!

Regardless, cheerful news.

God gives us the leaders we need. Obama to open peoples’ eyes (I hope... boy they better after this!), and maybe Gingrich is the man we need. Not the man we want, but the man we need. Kind of like baby steps back to conservatism?

Well, I’m a Perry supporter (obviously) and he used to come on Perry threads and pick fights.
I disliked him a lot but hate to see a ten year freeper zotted.
He never actually hit me and certain people have been far ruder to me but I guess he crossed a line.

Old trolls? Do I resemble that remark? On the whole, I’d say no. Others differ.

I agree, God does give us the leaders we need. It is hard to see specially with Obama and all he has done.
I pray and trust God’s choices.

Perry is the only candidate I would not support in Nov 2012.
Mitt and Newt are both RINOs (and by the way, what kind of names are Mitt and Newt?)
Bachmann and Paul are the only tea party candidates left.
Santorum is a solid social conservative.
Huntsman and Romney are the only two in the bunch I would not vote for in the general election.
I may not like some of Newt's stances, I may not like Bachmann's attacks on other candidates, I may not like Perry's recent call for a visa program for illegals to freely cross our border plus all of the crap he's pulled over the years, I may not like Paul's nuttiness over the years, I may wonder why Santorum can't develop a better stage presence and question his electability given that he can't carry his own state, but they are all somebody I could vote for. Huntsman and Romney on the other hand, no thanks.

Perry is not out of this race in any way. Frankly, I think voters (and the general public) are really tiring of all the dog and pony shows by a couple of the candidates.
I think anybody who has the money to stay in it and wants to stay in it, should stay in it.
We may joke about Perry, Santorum, and Bachmann fighting for 4th or 5th place, but all three of those candidates deserve to stay in it as long as they want to stay in it - the idea that somebody should be booted because they can't get out of single digits is ridiculous. Even Huntsman should be able to stay in as long as he has money and meets the requirements.
It's especially ridiculous when you have supporters of a candidate who is on top telling supporters of other candidates that if they don't support their candidate who is on top, they are helping Romney. We saw it when Rick Perry was on top and a few of his supporters were pushing the idea that supporting anybody but Perry meant you were supporting Romney, and we saw it with some Cain supporters when Perry cratered. Thankfully most of the folks who did that both times have been zotted. They were not helping the discussion at all.

Whoa, a veep like West would be freakin' AWESOME. But I do hate to burst your bubble: Newt has been a CFR member for many many years and that indeed makes him a member of the NWO cabal. However, on another thread I made an observation about Reagan and that issue. Reagan was not a member of CFR but he knew that that group has sewn up elections in this country since the early 1930s, although their first huge victory was the election of Woodrow Wilson before WWI. Reagan knew that in order to accomplish his short range goals he was going to have to toe the CFR line in appointments and staffing for their long range objectives. That's why he chose GHWB as his veep. Bush was a former Director of CFR and if you'll recall he was the one who actually much later during his own Presidency coined the phrase New World Order into the modern lexicon. Then Reagan proceeded to staff every single one of his cabinet secretaries and their deputies down about six levels with CFR members. It's not like he was dancing to their tune, but he knew all the musicians and all the songs and he was willing to "hum along" in order to get the job done. HIS job done. That is a simple fact of political life in this country. I mean in addition to being CFR both the Bush's are also BONESMEN as well! Talk about elitist cabals!
As far as your cabinet picks I agree with some and some not.
Energy Secretary, either Palin or Perry.
Secretary of Commerce: Cain
Put Bolton back as the head honcho in dealing with the UN.
As far as Attorney General, ANYBODY but Rudy!!! Do you really want an anti Second Amendment gun grabber in that post?
I think he ought to disband the BATFE and turn it from being a law enforcement agency to doing regulatory type paperwork and that should be strictly online.Anything that has a "boots on the ground and guns on the hip" should be folded into another agency. ALL law enforcement officers of the federal government should undergo a mandatory crash course in the US Constitution including intensive studies on the PEOPLE'S RIGHT to keep and bear (own and carry) firearms.
Disband EPA, Dept of Education, Dept of Labor, HUD, and many others...

If I am recalling the poster correctly, he was always snide and belittling, coming out with cheesy little faux paradoxes or ‘gotchas’, and made frequent use of superficial religious orthodoxies to try and promote passivity, abdication of discernment, etc. Very passive aggressive, in an ADD sort of way. I would have to read more of the posts than I care to in order to be sure. Entirely too much work for what is now a gently smoking crater.

Whew! 1997, end of November. That’s so cool! I feel like such a n00b around you founders. I mention old trolls because of the number of 10+ year old zottees lately.
I like Perry and would not mind his being president at all, but my only concern is that so many politicians campaign right and govern/legislate left. I know that he is a former Democrat, and that it can be a slow transition to conservatism from the left, my own metamorphosis having taken a number of years, but I’d like to believe that he has come to the constitutional side of governing.
