“What motivates you to make such ugly insinuations regarding that good man?”

She made a VERBAL commitment? Please.

You would think maybe she should have had a contract typed up? Seriously?

Given the all too conspicuous relationship between the medical field and the legal "sewer" industry, I am confident that Tom Coburn certainly satisfied himself as to her consent, (both legally and morally) before undertaking the surgery. To believe otherwise is to suggest the man was not cognizant of the threat of a lawsuit. A preposterous supposition regarding anyone in the medical industry. I have several doctor friends, and I assure you they are painfully aware of what they must do to avoid a lawsuit.

That the lawsuit was "dropped" ought to tell anyone everything they need to know about this incident.

In May 2011, the Senate Ethics Committee identified Coburn in their report on the ethics violations of Senator John Ensign. The report stated that Coburn knew about Ensign’s extramarital affair and was involved in trying to negotiate a financial settlement to cover it up.

That one wasn’t dropped.
