You have evidence the Hospital settled? Pop it out. I think it is completely irrational to believe that a medical doctor would take the risk of failing to get consent for a procedure. Obviously SOME SORT of consent was given, else there would have been NO PROCEDURE. I find it far more likely to believe a woman in pain would miss something being explained to her than that a man would risk his career and accept a massive financial cost because he didn't follow the usual policy on obtaining consent from a patient.

Your argument is nonsense on the face of it, and apparently the People of Oklahoma agreed. Twice. As a representative of those who voted for Tom Coburn, Let me be the first to extend to you a good ole Sooner state F*** Y**!
