CONCORD Former New Hampshire U.S. Sen. Bob Smith is endorsing Newt Gingrich for President.
Smith said in his endorsement, It is not enough to simply defeat President Obama. We must replace him with an inspirational, experienced, conservative leader, with the guts to challenge and change the establishment. Newt Gingrich is that leader.
The former senator said 2012 is a critical election that will either usher in an American revival or turn the country into a bankrupt, third world power.
He said conservatives need to do more than simply win the election; they need to make sweeping changes in Washington and the country.

Thank you. The research was apparently done by libertarian neocon (what I copied and pasted with link), and it was good. Was hoping that my tiny bit of rhetoric before that might be of some use to others, too.
CLINKing my glass with you. I have been following your posts on most of the other threads, man you have certainly weathered the STORM over there, you had a lot of incoming. GOOD JOB, no SUPERB JOB. Time to come in out of that storm and take a break.
Thanks again, familyop! Very gracious of you. Thanks very much also to libertarian neocon! Good, factual information is wonderful and always helpful in eliminating or ending stupid arguments.
Things are looking better with each passing day. If anyone can win this game, it’s Newt.
Thank you. We do pray.
” ...they will be tossed to the wolves as RINOs and traitors”
Funny, I remember when the term “RINO” actually meant something. Now, apparently, all it means is ‘anyone who doesn’t agree with me 100%’
P.S.: to the NEWT bashers, haters. PFTTTTTTTTT.
Hate is an terribly heavy burden to carry, let it go. Some you win, some you lose.
Sen. Bob Smith ran for President as a conservative and the RINOs turned on him, in mass - ran him out of the state.
You ask - Who cares about Bob Smith?
And then cite George Will - LOL!
Interesting is all the negatives people are raising have already been dealt with long ago...nothing hidden by Newt...and he’s certainly willing to discuss any of the issues people might have...though of course for some anything he might say isn’t going to make a difference...nor any of the facts. They just have a bug up their rear about Newt and it’s going to stay there pretty much.
You’re very welcome Onyx!
I don’t know what it is about Santorum. I look at his face and I’m thinking who does he remind me of? He’s kind of mixture of Chevy Chase, whom I deplore, and Gomer Pyle.
Have we forgotton who has Jimmy Carter’s endoresement?
I appreciate the pings =)
Thanks katiedidit1. Here’s a clip of a recent pvt msg here from me to someone I’m pinging here — with edits in brackets:
There are three possible Pubbie tickets, as things look now [IMHO].
Perry - Santorum (balanced for geography, picks up two large states, plus all or almost all of the SW US and the South)
Cain - Bachmann (balanced for gender, skin tone, outsider/insider, south/north, and RINO/CINO/LINO/FINO/Tea Party/conservatives; the ideal ticket from an idealogical view [Cain’s now high-tech lynched right out of the race])
Romney - Gingrich (RINOs’ dream; but I’ll vote for the Pubbie ticket no matter who it is)
Cain might, Sarah never will, Newt represents everything Sarah campaigns against in a public servant. No one that opposes crony capitalism and corruption in government could support Newt. In a lesser of two evils vrs Obama the scales will tip slightly in Newt favor, that's about it.
“U.S. Sen. Bob Smith”
If that indeed, is his real name. :-)
Only been touched five times: when each of our children was born, when my brother was married, when Reagan beat Carter, and when the Bears won the Super Bowl.
I'm ready for a sip when Newt beats Zero.
Bookmarked for future reference. Want to make a small wager?
