Herman Cain Announcement LIVE THREAD (Video Feed Link) [Suspending!]
HermanCain.com ^ | 12-03-2011

Posted on 12/03/2011 8:18:19 AM PST by montag813

Herman Cain is expected to make a "major announcement" today, anytime between 11am and 1pm EST in Atlanta. The media is assuming he will quit the race. Politico is positively glowing with anticipation of this. Will he fold, or FIGHT? He is also opening a new Atlanta HQ. Twitter reports that people are jamming in early to show their support.

We simply don't know what will happen, or when it will happen. What are your thoughts? Do you think he should quit? Or do you think Cain should stay in the race and deny the State-Run Media yet another GOP scalp on a platter - for unproven allegations -while they allow a vile rapist like Clinton, or commie cokehead like Obama breeze through unscathed?

HERE IS THE LIVE VIDEO FEED LINK: http://hermancain.com/livestream

True, and that kind of crowd is not very helpful even in sports.

Back-off, buck-o. Gloria Cain is off limits in this matter. Futhermore, she isn't running for office. Herman Cain did what he felt he needed to do; deal with it.

Untrue. Cain told the Union Leader if Gloria said to quit he would quit. If she said to move forward he would. WHY is she "off limits"? Was Hillary in 1992? No...she fought like a wounded animal for her husband. If you're going to fold like a cheap camera when the Left brings their usual dirty tricks, then why bother letting Herman run in the first place?

His endorsement isn’t for sale. He already said there were candidates that he would not have been a VP for because they differed too much from his own ideologies. If he couldn’t be a VP for someone, why would he endorse that same person?

I suppose he could endorse Newt, Bachmann or Santorum.

You are a fool To vote for Gingrich. I don’t think it will be Gingrich.

That doesn’t really make sense to me. The primaries are a great chance for the candidates to beat up on each other, to the glee of the other side... and then hand a tattered nominee up on a silver platter to face the opposition. Then again, perhaps they were worried that Cain would build up so much momentum as to be unstoppable. I’ll admit I don’t know a lot about strategy, just speculating.

Newt was silenced by Clinton when Bubba told him “you are just like me” with regards to sleeping around. From that point on he was Newtered. Eventually he quit his job as Speaker and his House seat.

So if you think he always fights back and can’t be bowed just wait. Happened before and will again

Does anybody have a recommendation for a gun to use to defend your family from an Islamist-communist revolution?

Where do I go from here?

It will be ironic when the Cain supporters go to Newt the consummate D.C. insider that represents everything they dislike about government. You just could not make this stuff up, no one would believe you.

Notice all the crocodile tears from Newt already on twitter, the man has no shame.

Do you really think it will come to that ? I’m not saying this because I’m trying to pick a fight, mind you.

Don’t minimize it. There are some extremely deep and hateful personal attacks and comments aimed at some very good people, all in the name of who’s candidate is more righteous than the other.

But even worse, nothing justifies these attacks when it all just boils down to individual opinion. The level of vile and indecency goes well beyond acceptable.

“Enjoy Obama’s second term, you deserve it.”

Thanks a lot, for God’s sake. It was your rooster or nobody, huh? So much for the Cainiacs loving the country. Quitters all. Cain was never going to he the nominee. Never. Just like they succeeded in stopping Reagan his first time. Cain was never going to be the nominee. No matter how you voted. Romney even had to step aside the last time for McCain.
That’s how it works. I think Cain has been offered a gig.

What skeletons?

I haven’t seen even one.

But it’s like this.

I appreciate all the support you’ve given my candidate, expect the same support from me to yours.

Capiche?

I'm sure all the candidates will have nice things to say about Cain.

I wonder if any of them tried to convince him to stay in, especially Newt, since he has experience with this area.

"I think Cain in 2016 is a reasonable bet IF he can be publicly vindicated/exonerated (and if the media is somehow forced to cover such vindication, that will be the hard part).

If not, he may become a footnote, sadly. It’s difficult to prove/disprove such slippery charges. Negatives tend to stick to people for awhile."

I have a problem voting for Newt or Romney & I won't do it. By 2016? - our country might well not make it by then.

I have to start from ground zero to find the Conservative I can vote for. I hope that happens for me.

"....given the number of bimbos who came out of the woodwork, there could very well be some truth to some of these allegations..."

I wish he would have immediately taken a lie detector test, with the results made public - with the very first one. This would have put a halt to any more lies...............(that is, if he is truly innocent of the charges).
